More about the super cool resort I went to last week, plus pictures, and an account of how gundu Cristal and I were when we went to the airport to welcome Joanne home. All this after I get home from Teo Heng! Yes, we're going singing, the CO people! Whee! Stay tuned! HAHAHA =D
And of course,
Happy birthday Rouhui, my dearest mortal and my mum's student! Hahahahaha. Yeah it's 5 hours belated, but I've wished her already hohoho. :D

Rarh I've been spending a fair amount of time at Viwawa lately playing bridge. Some partners are just crazy. One person bidded 7 spades (I had quite a lot of spades) and I was so scared he'd call me. In the end he called some random 8-diamond card which thankfully wasn't me. And my partner and I won 11 sets! Hahaha. Ooh I showed Joanne the site, and we were playing 2 nights ago (that crazy girl was still having her A levels!) lol. Shows how super well-prepared she is, a state that I'll never be in hehe. Oh yeah and this amusing game was going on.
After Joanne revealed herself and that she could trump spades, her partner plays some random suit that's neither trump nor spades.
Joanne: Toot leh she, dunno how to play spades arh!
(My partner wins this round, plays a spade)
Me: There, MY partner just played a spade for you!
Some partners are just weird HAHA. But that game was really quite amusing and I was laughing non-stop haha!
Whee Joanne comes back from the UK today! Yuqian, Cristal, Lam Lee (hopefully) and I are going to the airport later! Roar that lucky girl finished her A levels yesterday! My goodness, that's even before we start our CT 2 heh. And she's entering university in september, when we're still doing our prelims! Haha, the difference between the UK and Singapore's education systems lol.
I'm off to a chalet tonight! No don't scold me, I'm not going there to play. It's this resort that my dad's company built for the Singapore Armed Forces people, so we're allowed to stay there for free. And that's why my dad called us to go. I didn't wanna go initially, but now I think it's quite cool. I've been there before, and the place is really huge. Who knows, I may be able to study fantastically well there. And I'd better study, cos I won't be back till sunday. Haha so please don't miss me too much, everyone! Hahaha.
Alright, I'm off to Viwawa now! LOL!

This marks the end of my 6 years in CO! Ha. Time flies eh? Looking back at all the sectionals, orchestral practices, concerts, SYFs, overseas trips (China, Malaysia, China............. Hong Kong lol).......... it is rather sad that everything's over and we must all go back to our books now. Oh well. But all these will stay as beautiful memories! :)
Speaking of overseas trips, Vivian bought me food from China! Yup, the DHSCO trip haha. She told me lots of stuff about the trip too, and it really sounds super fun! Of course, which overseas trip ain't fun haha. And she updated me about the new scandals too lol. Tsk tsk. Oh, apparently Sky was the tour guide for Lan Dui! He'd have been my tour guide too if I'd gone! But if I'd gone, there goes my CT 2 haha. Lol Jeenise asked Vivian if my room's always this messy, or do I purposely make it messy when visitors come HAHA. Heh, but I think my room's quite neat now, after the maid packed it while I was away in Hong Kong! And now all the more I can't find my notes hehe. Ah Vivian told me that she and Jeenise wanted to buy me a pair of orange and green shoes! But they didn't know my size haha!
Whee DHSCO's having their committee interviews soon! I've been invited back and I kinda feel like going but that's a crazy decision, so I shan't think of it. Maybe I'll go back next year, to watch my COUSIN having her interview LOL! Okay, that's random.
Anyway, I just came back from my cousins' house. We watched Incredible Tales! I don't watch it, but I just watched it with them cos they wanted to watch. Today's episode was about some bloody mary thing, that "mary" will be unleashed when you stand in front of a mirror and chant "bloody mary" 3 times. I mentioned that I wanna try it, but my cousins said it won't work on all mirrors or something haha. I shall still believe that all these superstitions are bull. Haha Vanessa's so funny! She was scared, so she came to squeeze beside me and everytime she was scared, she'd pinch me. And it hurts you know! Not to mention that Nicholas kept scaring her with "gosh, something just flew past", and she'd constantly pinch me. Poor me! Hahaha but she's super cute lah. Look at this picture!
Cute eh? I'm trying to imagine her playing erhu. Haha!
My day's been nothing but unproductive man. I went to church, came home, napped till 7pm, went to my grandfather's house to celebrate Fathers' Day, went to my cousins' house to play, and just came back not long ago. BUT I'll make up for it, I'm gonna study from 2am to 8am later! Hahaha Sharon requested for a morning call at 8, and said she'll give me my "afternoon call" haha. Whee I feel excited about my mugging plans for later! Hopefully I don't get so bored and go to sleep. Haha!
Yay, I'm having roti prata for supper! :D :D
And Happy Fathers' Day!

I've been kinda living at kallang macs this week, going there to mug with Yuqian and Lam Lee. The place has really changed since our DHS days, it's so cosy now! And there seems to be quite few people, which is good. Haha yeah, Yuqian and I've been going there at 8am, isn't that early! Forget about Lam Lee, she's always 2 hours late. One day when she's ever punctual I'll go buy 4D wahahax.
Went to school today for math consultation with Mr Teo. Lol, he said that we're free to look for him anytime from 8.30am to 11am but ended no one went that early and the whole bunch of us (7 from our class) crowded into the math resource room at 10 lol! We had to wait kinda long to ask our questions haha! Was quite funny, hearing him complain non-stop lol. Yup I asked a number of retarded conics and curve sketching questions, couldn't wait to leave, so I left halfway. Went to meet Yuqian at kallang mac. Lam Lee didn't join us today cos her mum was scolding her or something. Scariness. I spent my time doing AP/GP and that's all. Omg, at the rate I'm studying, by the time CT 2 comes, I won't have finished half of my topics. Help!
Let's see. I'd like to believe I'm almost done with chemistry but I guess that's not true cos I just keep forgetting my stuff. For math, I've only revised several of last year's topics, leaving a huge chunk of stats (GROAN) and vectors, which I shall start on tomorrow. I mean, later. Haha, everytime I express my cluelessness about my topics, Yuqian will ask, "Haven't your school teachers taught this?" To which I'll say, "Yes they have, but I haven't learnt." That's right, I'm lagging 1000 miles behind everyone else. I haven't touched econs, God bless me, and as for bio, I don't feel like it's in my syllabus at all. Oops. Yeah, that's the status of my studying, not that optimistic huh? Oh well. I MUST finish vectors later! Going to kallang mac again hoho.
Haha Audrey sent me a rather random msg a few days ago, asking if I'm studying, telling me not to think about CO anymore, and that she'll pray for me! Thanks Audrey!! Haha I'd really like to believe that I'm studying, but the hours I'm putting in are less than half of my sleeping time! Okay don't scold me, I'll try to reverse it. Hehe. I have to, anyway, cos this is my last holiday to really catch up. Ah. The Lord will provide yeah! Go go go! And all the best too, everyone! Don't be stressed, take a breather, and........ stay gay! Hahahahahaha. :D
Happy birthday Amanda! Please be super honoured that I typed this here and what's more, it's not in pink! Wahahahax.

Haha went to watch The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian yesterday with Yuqian and Lam Lee. The show's nice! And more importantly, William Moseley's (Peter) very good-looking! LOL.
Huijin and I went to study today! Yeah, finally. We went to Junction 8. Cos it's nearer to her house and she always goes to Parkway, so I decided to be nice, as always wahahax. And I realise that it's actually not that long a distance from my house. The MRT ride's only half an hour, how cool. We went to Thai Express for lunch, then studied at macs. I spent the first few minutes laughing non-stop at my super-sized coke, I never knew a large coke's so large HAHA. Anyway, I studied organic chem! I keep forgetting my stuff roar. Lol I was writing out some reagents and Huijin said that's the first time she's seeing a piece of paper so filled with my handwriting. Heh. And she just wouldn't stop saying that I'm a negative influence! Just cos she was hardworking last year but suddenly became quite slack. LOL! That's rather amusing eh. But but but, it's not my fault okay! :) GOSH I realised that she still owes me $20! And I forgot to get it back from her! It's no wonder I'm so broke. Oh, I have half a mind to change some of my remaining HK money to pounds HAHA.
Lol Lam Lee msg-ed me at 2 plus am yesterday just to ask if I was awake haha! Of course I'd be, I'm nocturnal during the holidays. Yeah we were msg-ing each other until 4 plus, talking about our favourite guys and how it's so coincidental that they're all born in 1987 HAHAHA.
Whee all the best to those taking SATs tomorrow! Or rather, later. Valerie, Huijin, Amelia, Jessie, Hannah, Melissa.............. and anyone else! Ahh I'm so throwing my future away, I'm not even bothering about SATs. Maybe I'll take it after A's. Wahahax. Oh, someone tell me the deadline for the first draft of our T3A!
Wednesday, June 04, 2008
Went to meet Amanda after my dental appointment and we cabbed down to Aranda (this is so Valerie omg lol). There was supposed to be wet games at the beach or something in the afternoon but ended up everyone was slacking at the chalet haha. Tingkai, Tenghui and Xiangle were sharing ghost stories haha! But I still think that Jiayun and Amanda's screams are scarier than any ghost story wahahax. And I'm still gonna just turn my head when someone calls me from behind at night lol!
We just slacked around the whole afternoon playing cards (CHEAT!) until the handover. Mingcong bought me an orange watch! I think it's nice but a little big. I'll still wear it though! Haha. Oh, the J2 EXCO received our certificates too. And.............. MY SURNAME'S SPELT WRONGLY!!!!!!! I'm so sad about that! They spelt it as Zhou instead of Zhuo sigh. :( Haha I gave it to Fong Sun for safe-keeping, since she brought a file to the chalet lol. I hope I remember to get it back.
The BBQ was after the handover and I didn't wish to go downstairs so early, so I stayed in the room to pass time listening to Fong Sun's fantastic (DBS) achievements (Go Fong Sun! Facebook, facebook! Hahahahaha), camwhoring with Jiayun using Xiuxian's phone (she'll be shocked HAHA) and playing cards! Guoxiang was there, so imagine the cheating HAHA. Not really actually, cos Jonathan discovered that we exchanged a card during bridge LOL.
The BBQ was nice, there was so much food! Ha and Mdm Wee's convinced that I actually eat quite a lot, just that I can't grow horizontally. Yeah, waste food hahahaha. Oh oh! Hongming told me about the arrival of this person, and I went "HUH?!?!?!" in my disgusting voice, which happened to fly off somewhere mysteriously. Then he went to tell Xingzhong, whose reply was "WOOHOO!!!!!" sarcastically, of course. That was super hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing hahaha. And yes, I lost my voice yesterday! Everything was still fine until the handover when I realised that my voice was quite weird. By night time it was 95% gone lol. You know, it's been 9 years since I last lost my voice lol.
Night time was spent playing mahjong! Siyuan, Yanling, Fong Sun and I played from like 12am to 5am haha. And it was super amusing. We firmly believe that the Fa tile is cursed. There was once Yanling was waiting for that tile to game, but Fong Sun and I were each holding on to one, and she couldn't game. Another time I was waiting for it to game but it never ever came. Apparently Yanling had 2 of the tiles, and I had the other 2. So both of us couldn't game as well wahahax. For subsequent rounds, everyone started throwing away the Fa tiles lol. Ah and they kept saying that I always hog other people's tiles so that no one can game LOL! Omg I'm so innocent! Not like Weiliang, who really intentionally hogs people's tiles HAHAHA. I wanted to carry on playing, but I KO-ed at 5 plus, was too tired haha. Oh, I think Jiayun is super funny! Everytime she sees me she'll go "YO!" then start laughing non-stop. I think my aura's too overwhelming eh LOL!
We checked out today and like last year, I became rather emo when I got home. The usual emptiness when everything's over. Last year, I missed the seniors. Now, I miss the juniors! Just that this time, it's like everything's really over. No more CO activities, no more practices.............. Yeah I can still go back, but the feeling will be different I guess. Gosh, I'm really missing CO practices! And I'm not gonna have anymore of them. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :( :( :( Oh well, but everything must come to an end eh? As usual, I'm looking back on my childish moments, realising that none of those stuff really matter and that I was just being........ childish. Haha. Those memories will always be beautiful! Yay, VJCO rocks! I'm gonna be missing everyone for quite some time, so please miss me too! :)

Yuqian's another mad one man. She told me she's gonna wake up at 5am tomorrow. That's still alright, but she actually said she's gonna wake me up too! My goodness. But it's quite exciting eh, being the only awake soul in my house wahahax. And maybe I can discover that my optimum studying time is at 5am. That will be cool hahahahaha.
I've decided not to go for the chalet tomorrow, so that my dad won't nag at me too much if I just go for 2 days hahaha. Valerie and Yuqian advised me to just go on the second day too. Yay, feels good to have made up my mind wahahax. Whee I can't wait for the chalet! :D
In the meantime, I should study. Haha! Wow, call me a mugger!

Everyone else's wearing nice clothes cos they ponned school! Lol.
Huijin and Hannah

Huijin, Hannah, Shiang Nee

Zzzz......
Ah I miss S34! If not for CT2, I'd gladly have school reopen anytime soon hahaha.
Went to marina square yesterday with Lam Lee and Yuqian. For the first time ever, I was late! Actually, the more surprising thing is that I was later than Lam Lee! Haha. Yup I went there to shop for Mingcong's present(s). I think the stuff I bought him are nice, so he'd better like them! And I overshot my budget as usual lol.
I thought I was super efficient buying the presents! I got it done really quickly, so we went to eat at swensens since there was the 1-for-1 sundae thing. Haha Lam Lee was showing us her 100 over pictures of some Japanese or whichever nationality guys in her phone. When Yuqian and I saw them, we were like, "Why do you have so many pictures of girls in your phone!" LOL! But really, those guys look quite gay, especially those where they posed with fruits HAHA. Yeah and we were talking about our parents, who always scold us whenever the computer hangs. Like, "I told you not to change the wallpaper!" or "See, you shouldn't have downloaded your silly programmes and gone to those funny websites!" Parents............. LOL!
I realise I'm officially stepping down in 3 days' time. Sigh, it's always that very depressing feeling when seniors are leaving, then we're leaving, and all that. Oh well............ Ah I wanna go for all 3 days of the chalet! But I've got something on on the second morning. Hmmm. I'll see who's going. Yay, it's gonna be fun! Probably the last time I get to really play before I start slogging for the influx of examinations. Haha!
I'm still missing the Hong Kong trip! And I know Huijin must have missed me during the trip, cos she can't wait to ask me out! To study. HAHAHA.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOOJOO!!!!!!!! You can buy alcohol! Hahahaha :D :D :D

Day One - Welcome to Hong Kong!
Didn't do much, other than watch a musical performance by one of the COs there. The standard was good, of course, just that the songs were quite boring hehe. We had some time after that to do some shopping at this shopping centre near "Snoopy Land" (or what it's called) and I was really overwhelmed by the number of people inside. Not to mention they were walking at such a fast pace, makes it all the more intimidating. Oh, and we had a really hard time looking for the escalators lol. Cos they were all over the place, some escalators went up 2 floors, and it was basically a chore looking for the correct escalator haha. But yeah, it was a nice experience. :)
Day Two - Musical Exchance
Did some sight-seeing in the morning. We went to The Peak, and I think the view there's really beautiful! The buildings all look kinda interesting hahaha. We proceeded to Diocesan Boys' school after that for our "performance". They performed for us before we performed for them. Their intonation's good, dynamics're good, but I thought it was rather robotic. Could be due to the fact that the songs they played didn't have distinct tunes, such that all 3 songs sounded the same lol. But yeah, they're definitely very disciplined. And there's this suona guy who's really good! He seemed to play so effortlessly, as though he were playing a sheng or dizi lol. Yeah, I eagerly went up to present him my school badge haha! I think our "performance" was okay. I'm glad I held the last note for tuo ling, I'm not sure why I was so amused during sai ma but I was just laughing throughout the piece (to myself of course) and I didn't play it exactly well but at least I came in at the important parts (that's what I think lol), Canon in D was far too slow and I almost fell asleep playing it (I think the boys almost did too), and our dizi song was alright (yay!). Yup, I'm just glad it was an exchange haha. At night was fun, we went to a hospital to watch a CO practice! Haha yeah the practice is in the hospital cos the CO's made up of doctors and nurses and surgeons and all those people! Cool huh! I thought it was really, really fun cos they were all so warm and friendly and we felt so welcomed! They even invited us to play their song together with them haha. After which they requested us to perform some of our songs for them haha. I think we should all model ourselves after them. They're definitely busy people, being doctors and all that, yet they still find time for weekly CO practices. And as students we pon our practices like free. So stop ponning! LOL!!!
Day Three - Sight-seeing cum Shopping
We went to see the Big Buddha on Lantau Island, and the ride there was like a roller-coaster ride. The place is on top of a mountain, and the bus driver was turning and zooming everywhere, making me feel so giddy lol. Anyway, it takes 268 steps to climb to the Big Buddha lol. It was very windy up there and I was half scared that I would be blown off wahahax. When Joey saw me he said, "Eh Ruth, you're still here! I thought you got blown away!" >.<
Day Four - Ocean Park
Went to watch a practice by HKCO in the morning. I was quite fascinated by a couple of unfamiliar-looking instruments around haha. It was quite alright, but I wasn't like WOW, impressive! Haha. The highlight of the day's our visit to Ocean Park! It was really fun! And I think that this should be added to my Top 3 Achievements. I actually tried out the Abyss! It's this thing that raises you up a super tall tower-like structure, then drops you down at lightning speed in 10 seconds or so. Before arriving at Ocean Park, I thought that I probably wouldn't go on any rides cos I'm a loser when it comes to scary rides haha. But I can't believe I actually went to try the Abyss! Joey, Xingzhong, Fiona, Weiliang and I went to try it haha. Joey told us to keep our mouths shut so that when our organs fly up, we can swallow them back down. LOL!!!! My goodness. Haha everything was alright initially, cos going up wasn't exactly fast. What's more, Weiliang gave a yell all of a sudden and I couldn't help laughing. But I started to feel really scared when we were at the top. I didn't know when we were gonna drop down, and all I could do was pray. "God, please don't let me die on my way down!" I was praying halfway AND WE WENT DOWN! Omg, I'm very sure it's faster than lightning speed lol. We were lifted off our seats and we could only cling onto the red thing that prevents us from flying off. That was my best friend in that 1 minute or so hahaha. Yeah I was quite scared, so I screamed like anything to make myself better lol. Fiona thought I was dying or something, so she reached out to comfort me. She actually dared to remove a hand from the red thing! Lol. Zilu commented that my legs looked really funny. Cos I was kicking everywhere hahaha. But I felt really exhilarated after the ride. Like wow, I survived such a scary ride! I rock man! Hahahahaha. Another unbelievable thing's that I rode it for a second time! Cos they managed to drag Mdm Wee to ride with us, so all 5 of us decided to ride again. I almost chickened out at the last minute! I really wanted to get off the seat but the guy already pressed the button to start the whole ride. I was actually more scared the second time haha. After us shouting, "GO MDM WEE!!!!!" we were off! I was still scared when we plunged down, but it wasn't as scary actually. Haha. Anyway, the point is that I feel extremely proud of my courage LOL! A few of us went for the Raging River after that. It was fun! Having the water splash onto us haha. Even though the water isn't exactly clean... it was still nice hahaha. We went shopping at Ladies' Market again after that. This time, we bought our shoes! The colour's really bright and I'm so gonna shock my whole class. Not that they aren't already shocked by my current pair of shoes, which aren't exactly that bright are they! Haha. Yeah, managed to buy stuff for S34, my parents and friends too! :D
Lol I need 2 paragraphs for day four, cos I've got loads to say about our night-time card games! The curfew was at 3am, so we had a really long time to play. We went to Mingcong's room, where there were quite alot of people. We played bridge, dai dee and cheat hahaha. Guoxiang's freaking hilarious! His funny ways of talking and all the random languages he uses. Lol. He's just super funny man haha! I think I really spent the whole of last night laughing till I cried and my stomach ached lol! First was Guoxiang and his silly antics, then Amanda's sudden SCREAM when she looked at the TV (that scream was louder than Jiayun, Rebecca and Jasmine's combined), and not to mention that one game of cheat that got me laughing till I almost died lol. The person before me put a card in the 10, J, Q range, and I didn't have a single card in that range. But I saw this covered card on the table, so I took it and it was a Q, and I hurriedly put it. Cos Guoxiang peeped at my cards (as usual) and decided to give me a card LOL! Because of that I couldn't stop laughing for a long time lol! Yes and throughout the game we were exchanging cards like free, putting our cards on the table and taking each other's. And no one noticed LOL!!!! Omg everytime I think of it I'll laugh haha!
Day Five - Goodbye Hong Kong :(
We were supposed to go to the Chinese University of Hong Kong but it was raining heavily and not many people really wanted to go, so we went for a short shopping trip at this shopping centre. Zilu and I wanted to buy CDs but they were quite expensive sigh. Lunch was Korean buffet! It was somewhat like Seoul Garden haha. But we didn't have an equally long time. After that was shopping at the airport, then we had to check-in. :( Ah I was so sad then! Especially when we said goodbye to our tour guide, I nearly cried hee. Yay Fong Sun sat beside me on the plane! This time I didn't sleep cos I wanted to savour the last moments of the trip haha. I watched a bit of Enchanted to laugh at the part where Giselle opened the window to sing LOL. And Fong Sun was telling me about this yangqin guy from Diocesan LOL! After we arrived at the airport, Mingcong made me buy alcohol for him! Cos I'm 18 hahaha. He said he wanted to pretend that I'm his elder sister, so he said in front of the lady, "Jiejie hurry up, mummy's waiting." I was like, "WHAT!!!!!" The lady was quite friendly, so we chatted with her for a while. She was saying that we do not look alike and all that (of course we don't) LOL!!!
Some other highlights of the trip. We had 2 accidents in 2 days! The first one happened on the second day. Our bus was turning around this roundabout when a taxi rammed into it and the headlights of the taxi flew off. The HK police are really efficient man. Within a few seconds, a policeman arrived on his motorcycle and we were all really surprised haha. The second accident happened on the next day. This one was scarier. I was sleeping and listening to Boyband and I was about to reach the squeaky part when the bus all of a sudden gave a HUGE jerk and cards, water bottles and handphones started flying tothe front. I was alarmed, wondering what the hell was happening. Apparently some driver swerved into our lane and our driver tried to avoid him. That's what most people say. But at least we're all safe and sound! :)
Accidents aside, I got to know some people better and that's nice! Like Rebecca and Jasmine are totally crazy people lol. Especially Jasmine, who gives funny laughters at random moments. There was one night when Zilu and I were talking and all of a sudden we heard this giggle from their room. Zilu was like, "What are they doing!" LOL. Another night, we were about to enter our room from someplace. Zilu rings the doorbell. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" We heard this loud scream from inside and we were totally stunned. Like what's going on in our room! Haha turned out that Jasmine, Rebecca and Jiayun were trying clothes in our room and our ringing the doorbell shocked them LOL!!! I think their scream shocked us more lol. Haha and Jasmine's smart man. She very cleverly locked her key into her luggage and she couldn't open it lol. So we were struggling with safety pins for a while. Then she decided to use my nail clipper to clip away the metal part. I thought she was gonna do it will Christmas, until Zilu saved the day! She bent the safety pin, put it into the lock, turned it, and it opened! We decided that we're all gonna be careful of our house locks from now on HAHA. Yeah, and I never knew before the trip that Guoxiang's so funny lol. I'm thinking of the card game again LOL! And yes, Weiliang's super nice! Not that I didn't know that before but yeah, he's just really, really nice haha.
Ahhhh I MISS HONG KONG!!!!!!!!! The usual after-trip hangovers that I have. I miss VJCO! And I think the tour guide really rocks. He's such a nice person, and he's so passionate about his job! He's probably the best tour guide I've encountered in my 3 CO trips. I shall hunt for him on Facebook or something haha. Roar I wish the trip could be as long as DHSCO's, 9 to 10 days. But that's impossible haha. Talking about DHSCO, they're going to HK tomorrow! They're gonna have the same tour guide, go to one of the restaurants we went to for dinner, and stay in the same hotel! But of course, not for all 9 days haha. Just now I was contemplating camping at the airport and join DHSCO for another HK trip tomorrow HAHA. They'll be going for 9 days! And Vivian's going too! I shall ask her to tell Sky that her cousin went to HK too hahahaha.
Vivian's so funny. The moment I signed in, she went, "DAJIE!!!!! I GOT THE BLAZER THAT YOU BORROWED BEFORE! I'm honoured to my soles!" LOL!!!! Talk about coincidence, her getting the blazer I once borrowed. But well, our sizes are almost similar haha. Anyway, have fun, DHSCO! Wish I were still in HK. :(
I'm prepared to be feeling really sad tomorrow when I wake up. The usual depression I feel after I wake up from some big event. You know, the emptiness that you feel after everything is over. And besides, coming back means reality. It means that I should stop playing and sit down to REALLY STUDY. Recalling Mr Ho Wei Kang's words. Take the first week of the holidays to really unwind, and after that, you'll have to study at least 6 to 8 hours a day. There will be no more break for you all the way till after your A levels. It scares me to imagine how short time is. Ahhh. But yeah, I'm back, and I really should get started!
Hopefully Lam Lee, Yuqian and Cristal are free tomorrow! Lam Lee is, but the other 2 haven't replied. If they're free, I can go out instead of moping at home feeling sad that the trip is over haha. It's still the first week, I can still play! Hahahahaha. Ooh. Fong Sun's telling me that she found the vice-president of Diocesan CO on Facebook. LOL!!!
No pictures yet, cos they're all in random people's cameras haha. I didn't bring mine cos it's spoilt, and my phone will lag a thousand years. Look forward to seeing my noble face! :D
BRING ME BACK TO HONG KONG PLEASE!
Friday, May 23, 2008
CO pratices this week have been rather mentally draining. What with all that last-minute choosing of a dizi item (my fault), us screwing up yesterday when we were supposed to play for Mdm Wee, blah blah. But it was better today, on the whole. Ah I've got to play sai ma now! I remember back in DHS I used to dislike being accompaniment for xianyue cos of Wang Laoshi, who loved to drive me nuts and stress me totally lol. Thankfully there's no one doing that now haha. Ha I was sight-reading the score just now and smoking through here and there. But I think I was not bad already! HAHA. Hopefully all will be well on the day of our performance. Yes it will! :)
Went to join our class people at the marina square sakae after CO. Huijin, Amelia, Jarren, Shiang Nee, Hannah, Jessie and Melissa were there. They'd been there for 1 hour before I joined them lol. Haha they were asking me what time's our flight to Hong Kong this sunday cos they thought of sending me off, and I told them we have to be there by 6am. Obviously no one will be sending me LOL! Oh I met Zhou Mo at city hall mrt on my way back haha! She went there for some Melbourne university open house thing haha.
Lol I talked on the phone with Valerie for more than an hour just now! We were talking about our CCAs and stuff, and I must say she really knows a lot of things LOL. Cool. Yay, it's so nice talking to her. We'll just laugh and whine and complain about every single thing in the world lol! :D
I'm going to cut my hair tomorrow morning! With Yuqian and Lam Lee haha. Lam Lee's saying she'll see if she wants to wake up tomorrow, then she'll go. Such a mean friend eh! I told her that if she doesn't go with me tomorrow, I'll fly away to HK after that and she'll miss me, to which she gave a super sarcastic reply and I can't stop laughing now LOL!!! Ah I'll need to pray about my hair tonight HAHA.
Three cheers for the American Idol, David Cook! Yeah! :D :D :D And that concludes season 7 sigh. I love this season man, all that talent! This must be the most exciting finale I've watched, both popular and competent Davids standing an equal chance. They're both such great singers, Archuleta sings till my hair stands and Cook's just phenomenal. Haha! Ahh that means I'll have no more shows to watch anymore! All the way till the new seasons of Survivor and Amazing Race. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Alright, STUDY!
Hoho. Did I mention that I sent 1494 messages last month! I really wonder where did my msgs fly to. :/

Saturday, May 10, 2008
Yeah I thought it was a lack of sleep or something, so I just went to school as per normal. I didn't feel too bad till I was up in the music room, when I felt quite feverish and super cold. But I wasn't sure if I had a fever yet. Until I was in the PT and I felt quite terrible, having body aches and all that nonsense and quite alot of people told me I felt feverish. Whoa I was totally dejected! Like of all times! I haven't had a fever in a super, super super long time and it had to come on concert day! First time ever man. Haha I was basically dying during the rehearsal cos of my body aches. What's more, they kept asking us to stand and sit, stand, sit, sit, stand. And I was very annoyed cos the PA crew always seeemed to be lagging and I ended up standing so long lol.
Haha I went to the general office to get panadol, and the person refused to give me but instead told me to go see a doctor. I was shocked when I heard that lol. Fiona wanted to go to 7-11 to buy panadol for me, but she met her friend and her friend happened to have extra strong panadol for all the aches lol. Fiona's friend is my saviour! Haha. Yep I felt better after eating the panadol, at least I didn't ache so much. And, I didn't tumble down the stairs during Canon in D lol.
Our rehearsal seemed to take an eternity. After the effects of the panadol wore off, I started feeling crappy again and I was moaning and moaning. And I had no strength to play my solos lol. Luckily for Guo Laoshi's understanding, he said those who weren't feeling well can rest. Haha!
I think I had less than 10 scoops of rice for dinner. I was quite hungry, yet I had no appetite cos I needed something light. Yet I had to eat, otherwise I'll start shivering during my long notes. Haha thankfully I didn't! Anyway, I was thinking that everything will be okay in the end, cos God is always there for me! Haha Valerie told me a verse just now, "We are more than conquerers...." can't really remember the second half oops. But yeah, I was inspired by that! And I knew that God will help me! :)
I wasn't feeling all that great when the concert started, but whoa, the moment I saw familiar faces, Sharon, Joo, Huijin, Jessie, Audrey Han, Huijin, Yuqian, Lam Lee, Cristal, I all of a sudden perked up! I told Zilu that I felt so energized when I saw them haha. Audrey's so funny, she suddenly stood up, waved and said, "HI RUTH!" LOL!!!!! Thank you to my fan club for calling my name! LOL nah kidding. Sharon, Joo, Huijin and Jessie! Not bad, quite loud eh! Hahaha =D
I thought my first few items weren't that great, especially tuo ling. But I've got no regrets, cos I did my best haha! Valerie said I looked like I was dying LOL. I think I did better for the second half. I felt more refreshed haha! And I didn't expect Guo Laoshi to ask Mingcong and me to stand up for ju hua tai. I looked down the stage and I saw Ms Wong clapping super enthusiastically and at that moment I was thinking, "omg, here's such a nice teacher whose work I never ever do!" and I felt so guilty but touched at the same time. But really, Ms Wong's really a nice and cool teacher! Haha I felt quite overcome with emotions during the last few songs. My tears were like coming out and going in LOL. Yeah, I think we really did a good job! =) Oh btw, anyone realised I forgot one line of Canon? I managed to make it harmonise though! Hehe
Thanks everyone for coming, and for all the gifts! Thank you Huijin, Sharon, Joo and Jessie for the big bird balloon whose head can nod LOL, thank you Audrey for the chocolate and for saying you're honoured to be my friend (I'm honoured!), thank you Xianghong, Jobina and Rouhui for the flowers, thank you Yuqian, Lam Lee and Cristal for the huge nemo balloon (Zilu saw it from her seat and started commenting on it LOL), Jolie, Wing Sum and Flora for the flower petals (everyone has 1 but I have 3 cos they say the SL deserves more! LOL) and OF COURSE, thank you VALERIE for the 3-page letter which I really read before going on stage and I was so, so, so touched I tear-ed but didn't cry cos there were too many people in the CO room haha, and for the chocolates too! And thank you everyone who came, Mingyao, Yilin, Jeenise, Xiaoxue................ and all the DHSCO people! :)
Haha! Just now this Hwa Chong guy came to talk to me and asked if I knew him. Apparently he knows me, but I currently can't think of anyone I might know hmm. I'm sorry, my brain's quite useless today, I'll recall when I'm better! Hehe. Oh, and Jonathan's friend, I think his name is Lemuel, came to talk to me twice saying that he thinks I play well and he's impressed by my vibrato! Huijin and the rest happened to be there and they said that I've got admirers and today when I get home, 50 people will add me on friendster LOL! Omg that's super amusing! But really, thank you everyone for everything!
Roar I brought up a drink and panadol, now my drink's almost finished but I haven't touched my panadol. Don't feel like eating hehe! I should sleep soon. But I shall watch Survivor first! Hahaha.
And once again, I can't thank you guys enough but yeah, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!!! :) :) :)
Haha these 2 days were like some roller-coaster ride. Just yesterday (thursday), I felt really, really demoralised. And annoyed haha. When I first stepped into the PT for rehearsal, I thought that my blood vessels were gonna burst cos I felt that the world was out to piss me off (sounds so Huijin LOL). I was basically annoyed with people who didn't bother about my request for another platform, and with people who kept telling me to do things when I've already made a decision and it was really impossible to appease everyone. Gotta do things the fair way! Haha later on, I felt really demoralised cos our Canon in D had some screw-ups due to some memorising problems. I was complaining to Siyuan about it lol. When I got home, it was already 10 plus pm and I had no concert mood at all. When I FINALLY started to feel a little excitement................

Ooh yesterday's econs lecture was quite funny (yeah I went HAHA). I fell asleep minutes into the lecture and just a few moments after Audrey woke me up, Mr Cook started talking about people who were sleeping. There was this girl who was sleeping, and he told her friend to stick a finger into her ear to wake her up! My goodness lol. Audrey said if he'd asked someone to wake me up, she'd have pretended not to know me HAHA.
Speaking of pretense, Mr Tan Yew Hwee made me mop the canteen floor a few days ago! Thanks to Huijin man. She spilt milo on herself and on the floor and Mr Tan happened to see that, so he beckoned the both of us towards him. After he asked Huijin to go wash up, he turned to me and said, "Girl, your friend made a mess of the floor, so you have to help her clean up right? Go borrow a mop from the drinks stall." I initially thought he was joking, but he said, "Quick lah!" and really went to help me borrow a mop from the drinks stall. So I really had to mop the floor! Omg thankfully there weren't many people in the canteen, so embarrassing lol! And Huijin laughed at me when I told her what I did! Lol. She says she'll nominate me for VGEMS. Yes, I think I deserve it for being such a noble friend LOL!!
We had CO yesterday until 9 plus! I wouldn't have minded so much if it had been dazu all the way, but it wasn't. There was sectionals for what seemed like an eternity (thank God for tuo ling hehe). And I wondered what the hell do we need sectionals for. Oh well. Yeah I was annoyed during sectionals (like what's new) cos I was competing with the suonas to MAKE MYSELF HEARD. But at least the suonas don't play when I'm talking, whereas some egomaniacs who think they're THAT GREAT never ever stop playing and it really gets very irritating. Either that or some other people refuse to play and just sit there watching me suffer. Not to mention people who yell extremely rudely at me when they can't hear me. For God's sake if you can't hear, keep quiet, I wonder if their primary school teachers ever taught them that. ROAR. Sorry for this, I did say I'll try to appreciate my section cos it's the last few days. Yeah, I did, by being so tolerant and never once losing my temper!
Haha alright, enough about stuff that annoy me. Dazu was quite fun, cos Zilu and I were singing as usual. There was once I was so amused that I laughed until I cried. And we were reliving our SYF practices last year, the lame things that we did haha! Yeah, that includes the over expression of emotions during the gao yin sheng part of Chun LOL! Oh gosh, I'm missing the seniors haha. Oh oh, and I was thinking, I'm really appreciating DHSCO guys! A lot lol.

The concert's tomorrow! I'll try to be positive about it. Haha and it's my last practice today. And tomorrow's probably gonna be my last real concert. Who knows, maybe I'll feel a tinge of sadness. Heh. Haha! So funny, Handoko, Zixuan and Teerapong all asked me what am I doing online, is there no school today lol. And Teerapong said I'm becoming like him, MC king LOL! Okay, I'll go download Clay Aiken's new songs!

I'm happy today! :) And I shall happily do my chem review test tomorrow. When I'm not even clear what topics are tested lol! Besides organic chem, that is. God will provide! =)
Saturday, May 03, 2008
I was initially in an alright mood for CO today, until I happened to see another side of some people and I must say that made me feel disappointed, bewildered and pretty much pissed off for the rest of the day. I was so tempted to hide in the classroom with the suonas during sectionals in the hopes that they would blast my unhappiness away. But Zongxing would definitely not approve of that lol, so I attempted to fen my section properly.
Haha I don't know what's the problem man. I came home and pondered over it, is it my fault? Am I expecting too much? Perhaps I am, but one thing's for sure, everyone deserves respect, yes? And surely I've given in enough? I can say that I've actually been quite fair if not very and if people are still unhappy, I can only ask you to be content, and it's a fact, I've given enough.
Ha yeah I was complaining to various people just now. Thank you Valerie for talking to me! I know I can always count on you to listen and at the same time be impartial. :) Haha we were apparently both annoyed with arrogance and disrespect, so we were complaining to each other lol. Yup, I felt better after that! Oh yes, thank you Huijin too! =D
Pointless frustrations aside, Yuqian told me yesterday that her mum went to cut her dog's hair and now her dog looks like a boy! I was laughing like nuts when I heard that. Just imagine! LOL!
Roar. Everyone please, give me some credit for being so nice and tolerant. :/

Yeah all the while I was trying not to fall asleep in the PT during the practices and rehearsals haha. Genius said upon her mightily late arrival that I sounded bored lol. Firstly cos I was really bored, secondly, I was annoyed at some people who kept asking me so many things even after me telling them what to do and showing them the whole plan. Heh. Now, for the masterpieces of boredom.

Genius and Noble, with a bang! (Two, rather)

And Mingcong! Don't you think he looks really funny? I couldn't stop laughing over this picture and for revenge, he took a picture of my EZ link card with my primary 6 face heh. But yeah, it's so funny LOL!
Ha for once, my di mo during the rehearsal was at its optimum! I was surprised, cos rehearsals are my screwing up times haha. I was quite worried that my di mo will die on me during the concert, cos we were moving from the music room which was air-conditioned, to outside, to the PT. Such changes in temperature! Haha the di mo wasn't at its best, but it was still not bad. I kept praying about it on stage haha. "The Lord will provide!" Yeah man, and He did! Yay! Haha, Jessie and Esther msged me saying my solo was good! I was actually quite surprised, cos to be honest, well... haha. And Mr Chang came up to me and said, "I didn't know you play so well, you played with feeling!" something like that. But it was the second part that made me happy. Know why? Cos Mr Tay really brings out emotions! If it were any other conductor I doubt I'd have played it as "feeling-ly" haha.
Yay, went to meet Jeenise, Yilin and Liqin just now! I passed Jeenise her tickets for VJCO concert, then we chatted for a while. And thanks alot Jeenise for the da G diao dizi! I forgot to take it from Suyun, so Jeenise ended up lending me hers haha. Thank you loads! :D Yup, here's a picture, observe the suona-dizi divide HAHA.

Tsk, anti-social suonas LOL! And I think I look cool with the dizi!
Went for dinner at burger king after the concert. Quite a number of VJCO people were there, but wasn't really a CO dinner haha. Cos I was learning about some interesting stuff and in my noble opinion, everyone should just be gay! HAHAHA. So annoying, I waited and waited for bus 15 for such a long time and when it finally arrived, it was so full I couldn't get on! I ended up calling my mum to pick me up hahaha. Fortunately there were the tan bo yue people to keep me company! Was talking to Fong Sun about random stuff haha. :D
Guess the concert can be considered a success, although it was so so boring. And I apologise for not doing my jobs! First, I was answering nature's call and forgot to bring MJC to LT 5. By the time I checked LT 5, they were already inside. And secondly, I forgot to check LT 4 for cleanliness! Sigh, I think I'm too irresponsible. Time to reflect but before that, thank God and thank you all for a wonderful time today! Haha =D
It's been a rather fun and interesting (we'll come to this later). Yeah, what with Shiang Nee and "mother cow!"s that made me laugh for 2 whole periods of chem tutorial, sudden realisation that I've got incredible fate with this certain teacher... and more. The highlight (much as I don't wish to call it a highlight, I really cannot get it off my mind) of the week goes to an account I, or rather we, heard that made me change my perception of this person. Instead of thinking that he's evil like I once thought, I now think that he's completely heartless. Nope I don't think, he IS heartless, period. And like omg, that person's actually so close to us! Fellow classmates, you know what I'm talking about lol.
Met up with Yuqian and Cristal today! We went to marina square, where I went to get some presents. For whom, you'll know sometime. After which we went to warm the seats at subway for a little while, before I decided to come home so that daddy won't start his nagging. Oh, today must have been the first time I entered candy empire without my wallet being empty! Yay! :D
Ha, it's the east zone concert. For some reason though, I don't feel like there's any concert tomorrow. Perhaps I'm still reeling from the shock of Survivor. Oh gosh, I so can't believe the suspense. But who cares, I certainly ain't complaining!
We get to see DHSCO tomorrow! Yeah!
Saturday, April 12, 2008
Hmm for some reason, I feel that I've been playing loads of bridge in school this week! Cool heh, and I think I'm pro cos I seldom lose wahahahaha. :D
Oh yay Valerie agreed to go for the CO concert! She didn't want to go initially, but I casually asked her again and she said okay! Yay! So funny, she sat beside me during math lecture yesterday and I kept talking to her, causing her not to be able to finish copying the notes LOL! Hey, but I'm not a distraction okay! Hoho.
Heh. I was just complimenting American Idol for always producing deserving winners and the next moment, Michael Johns gets eliminated. Like.... what the hell? America was probably as shocked as I was. I'm not gonna talk about how unjustified that vote was, that will take a few essays. But, yeah, Michael didn't deserve to go! :( :(
Haha went to meet Genius at suntec before CO today. She treated me to crystal jade! Like finally LOL! Haha yep and it rained so heavily so we decided to take a cab to school and ended up being the earliest, the music room wasn't even open. So we sat at the Guanyue sectionals area listening to nice songs wahahax. Dazu was alright, Mr Tay praised me for my front part of ju hua tai! :D Hahaha. Went for an early dinner with Genius, Cephia and Zongxing at KFC after CO. I still had dinner when I came home though. Wahahax.
Oh, I was reading Genius' blog yesterday and I couldn't stop laughing! Look at this man.
"And regarding the CO practice on saturday. It must have been ground breaking since the world witnessed the birth of an extraordinary duet comprising Genius and Noble. They have such good understanding that one of them will just sing any random songs and a second later they are singing together! Haha! I'm sure it was an aural treat to those sitting in the vincity of the two, and even for our beloved conductor who noted that Noble was laughing throughout the practice. Watching someone laughing like that is therapeutic. Really. I'm not kidding."
LOL!
That set my tears flowing hah. PW results were out today. Right till the moment we entered the chem lab, I was thinking that I didn't really deserve an A, but I still held on to some hope. Until Mr Lim said that 4 students in our class did not get a A. Well 4 isn't many, but it isn't THAT super few either. Plus the fact that he mentioned that 3 groups had all A's, 2 groups had students with B's. I was thinking then that I was so gonna get a B. And I did. So I don't know why I still cried but yeah, I just cried straight after he announced my name and result. Lol I don't think I've ever cried in class before, what's more in front of LCC! Haha. And I was the only person who cried, how embarrassing. Guess it was the sting of being in the minority hmm. Anyway, the class was really, really nice about it. When LCC asked for a class cheer, no one cheered hee. Ahh and really, thank you so much all of you! Thank you Huijin, who was beside me consoling me all the time, Gabriel, who came up to me and asked me to cheer up, and thank you Sharon for the comforting hug! :) Of course, thank you everyone for constantly telling me to cheer up and being so reassuring! :) :) Haha oh, something funny. We were leaving the lab and LCC was saying some stuff to me, something like "oh it's okay, it's okay..........." and Sharon went "whoa so cold, so cold" HAHA!
Oh well............. I don't know why I was so sad since I already thought that I didn't deserve an A. But I guess we all want to do well, and part of me of course was still hoping for an A. I admit, I was rather slack at times, I wasn't much of a big talker during meetings (other than pointing out random linguistic errors), but I think I really gave my best, so I've certainly got no regrets. And I'm genuinely happy for my group members who got an A! You guys totally deserved it! =)
So, the PW torment is officially over. Huijin, Melissa, Mark, Jiexin, you guys have been awesome, it was great working with you. PW does bring back some pleasant memories, Melissa's funny accents, all the bridge sessions, cartoon-watching sessions and so on. And if it weren't for PW, Huijin and I probably wouldn't become so close. Haha yeah, PW ain't all torture after all lol. Yup, it was a great learning experience! And yes, congrats and great job, S34! Hurray for us being the third best class of the cohort! (LCC shows off to his next civics class........................) hahaha =D
Haha I was at plaza sing with Huijin and Amelia when Chia Wen msged me, "His way is perfect, His way is perfect. Though I don't understand His wise and loving plan. His way is perfect, His way is perfect. Take my life and make a vessel purified, God makes no mistakes, His way is best. Trust God, He knows best." I was really touched, and if I were at home instead, I would have cried haha! Thank you so much Chia Wen! Yeah, He knows best!
I've cheered up considerably, and I'm really touched and very thankful for everyone's concern. S34, I couldn't have asked for a better class. Thank you everyone! Thank God! :) :) :)

A very overdue update on last week's DHSCO annual concert. It was a blast (of course it would be), it was total fun playing bridge with my juniors, whom I think are fantastic and miss ALOT ALOT, and I think I played well! (After all those "anyhows" during my very minimal practices, I decided to practise properly wahahax). In a nutshell, I LOVE DHSCO AND DHSCO ROCKS!!!!! Haha, I remember I was emo-ing after the 7pm concert, that it was my last performance with DHSCO. Oh well, at least our batch committee will be organising the concert next year, so we'll be there again! Haha.
Past few days of school were boring. I was sick and on MC for 2 days, but I went for CO! Please do not argue that I'm noble. Hahaha. Oh, I must talk about my very eventful meet-favourite-teacher session HAHA. I got woken up by an sms from Mdm Wee at 1.30pm on wednesday, asking me to meet the HOD and I shot out of bed IMMEDIATELY. Whoa, the best alarm clock yet. Haha I rushed to draw up a study schedule to show Ms Tan and to think up possible reasons for my terrible results (of course I couldn't think of any hehe). I started msg-ing a number of people to moan and ask them to pray for me lol! Anyway, Ms Tan was surprisingly nice! She told me that she believes if I study, I can do well, and that she has confidence in me! SHOCKER. She asked me what's gonna happen if I fail my CT 2. I told her that if that happens, I'll really leave the college. I don't know if I said that to buy yet another chance or if I really meant it, but I want to pass my CT 2! I think I've been given too many chances. Argh, hopefully this will be the final wake up call. But whatever it is, thank God!
Oh yes, I finally asked my dad if I could go for the VJCO Hong Kong trip! Prior to asking him on thursday night, I did some sorta study plan, which included lots of calculations, quotes and a paragraph of my logic HAHA. Like, my dad always says that he'll let me use the computer as long as I study. So assuming I use 2 hours of the computer per day on weekdays and 4 hours per day during the june holidays, by the end of the june holidays, I'll clock up 168 hours of computer-usage. The HK trip is 5 days, rounded up to 6, cos I'll be tired when I return. That makes 144 hours, which means that if I forgo using the computer on weekdays, I'll give up 168 hours of leisure for 144 hours! And after calculating all the hours of studying, minus procrastination and other forms of time wastage, I'll have 390 hours to study from the monday of term 2 week 3 till the sunday before CT 2. Plus many other details in my "proposal". Impressive eh? But I'm so not gonna show it to anyone, cos it's just too amusing HAHA. The point is, MY DAD LET ME GO TO HONG KONG!!!!! Omg I was like SO SURPRISED and so elated and so touched that I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Oh, and my dad says that I write very well LOL!!!!! Oh gosh. Yay, I'm just so thankful to my parents! I WILL STUDY OKAY! I will, I will, I will! Any kind souls mind msg-ing me now and then? Hahahahaha.
I feel quite overwhelmed and confused as to what to study, cos the biggest problem now is that I CAN'T FIND MY NOTES. AUDREY!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!

Tuesday, March 11, 2008
Started the day with happy birthday shouts from Jessie, Hannah and Melissa haha! My dad dropped me off at the fountain and the three of them happened to be fiddling with a laptop over there lol! There was H1 bio make-up lesson today, and I wanted to pon it. But Cephia made me go cos she said I won't get my present if I don't go HAHA. So I went. With a few pieces of foolscap paper and some stationery, which weren't mine. Yeah, I didn't do my tutorial so I merely sat there and stoned and yawned oops. But I kinda listened! Whoa, it almost killed me, it lasted for almost 2 and a half hours! Imagine 2 and a half hours of Evolution. Lol! I was quite puzzled when I went back for sectionals cos all of a sudden everyone knew it's my birthday and started wishing me. Haha should have suspected something lol.
Lunch was at thai pan again. The uncle's so nice, he made a few trips down to VJ just to give the students a lift cos it was raining! Hahaha yup. And thank you my beloved Guanyue for singing me a birthday song in thai pan! Haha. :)
Dazu was rather fun today lol! I think the Taiwan song is nice! Although like usual, I'll probably get sick of it soon haha. Anyway, it was so scary initially. Cos Mr Tay started from the beginning, which meant I had to play the solo. And I totally did not know how to play it cos it wasn't that kind whereby there's a specific rhythm, it's supposed to be freestyle. Then I haven't heard that song before, neither have I even glanced at the beginning part cos I really thought that he was going to skip it today. In the end I totally freestyled and after correcting me a little Mr Tay said that it was good! So surprising. I shall attempt to be hardworking and go listen to the recording hehe. Oh, I'm starting to like Fen Yong! Cos we played at a faster speed today haha. And and, SHA DI ER IS CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JOY TO THE WORLD!!!!!!
OH!!!! Before dazu, everyone was like slacking around. A few people were standing around in front and I was wondering what were they being so fascinated about over there but I didn't think twice about it. Haha then Xingzhong announced that they were gonna sing a song and everyone should sing along, cos it's a song everyone knows (by then I thought I knew haha)! Yeah and he said that it's my birthday, and the whole CO sang a birthday song for me! And Siyuan walked towards me holding a cute little cake, whoa I was so surprised and touched! Hahahaha. THANK YOU VJCO AND EXCO AND GUANYUE AND OF COURSE THE "mastermind" CEPHIA!!!!! :D :D :D
After CO, Cephia gave me this few-paged card (so she called it), in which were birthday wishes from the exco and Guanyue! Hahaha I felt so guilty after reading Guanyue's messages, cos they all thanked me for being a good SL and senior. And I'm obviously not one, so.... Yeah. But I shan't emo now, instead thank you everyone for everything, I will do my best to live up to what you all said of me! :) Thank you again exco, I will study hard! Hahahahaha. Oh, Cephia asked me to search for my present in the music room too. I kept walking around the Guanyue area looking here and there and finally found it behind the curtain haha! It's a new bag, and it's green, and most importantly, IT'S NICE!!!!! Thank you all who shared! Cephia, Mingcong, Fiona, Zongxing and Wang Xuan! I'll use it when school reopens yay! :D
Went out for dinner with my parents just now. We went to king's hotel, and the food's really, really nice! I'm so full now haha.
Lastly, and most importantly... Those who didn't see your names in my PM, here they are! My thank you list! THANK YOU...
Yuqian, Lam Lee and Cristal for the photo album! Really, thank you all for the effort you all put in! Sacrificing your early days just to meet up and do it, Lam Lee and Yuqian sacrficing their mugging time (they some tests during and after the holidays), putting in so much effort to write nicely and rewrite everything if there is any error, looking at my face every single page you all turned to (although I think that's a real honour), making sure the ink doesn't smudge and the plastic is straight, and basically all your blood, sweat and tears in the 40 pages! This is also the first present that made me cry! THANK YOU, LOVE YOU ALL LOADS AND LOADS!!!!!! :) :) :)
Valerie for the mini beany thing and the touching letter (which I cried over once again hehe). You're really a great, great friend, thank you for everything killer!
Joanne for the birthday card sent from the UK! I know I cry a lot, but please don't scold me! Hahahaha.
Sharon for the gigantic hammer! Thank you for quarrelling with the games stall owner just so that you can buy it (when it's supposed to be a prize) HAHA!
My parents, for the wonderful dinner!
My uncles and aunts for the angpows, and Vivian, Nicholas and Vanessa for the wishes! Vanessa even specially delivered my present to my house! It's a couple of takashimaya vouchers! Ahh I LOVE MY COUSINS!!!!!
Cephia, Mingcong, Fiona, Zongxing and Wang Xuan for the beautiful bag! And thank you Mingcong for your gummy pigs, I'll try to gain weight with that lol!
VJCO exco for buying my cake and writing my birthday wishes and all that! Cephia, Siyuan, Jonathan, Fiona, Zongxing, Shipei, Zhou Mo, Elroy, Joey, Xingzhong! Thank you!
My beloved section GUANYUE for the birthday song and for writing the wishes! Thank you Cephia, Fiona, Wang Xuan, Tingkai, Zoe, Samuel, Shitai, Cui Yue, Hou Zheng, Chenwei, Mingcong! Oh, and thank you Samuel for the collection of random vouchers LOL!
VJCO for the birthday song! Yeah VJCO rocks!
Of course, special thanks to Cephia, who probably planned everything and got everyone to write the stuff! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

CO was alright. I've concluded that I probably won't be a good teacher. And I realise that Zongxing teaches really well. He's firm, something I need to learn. Haha. Dazu was boring, perhaps cos I hate Sha Di Er. Honestly, I HATE Sha Di Er. Mingcong and I were over there saying, "Cancel sha di, cancel, cancel, cancel!" Haha. What do we want to play it for, when so many people have played it! Haha.
Went to meet Yuqian, Lam Lee, Cristal and Valerie at marina square after CO to celebrate my birthday. And I must say, the present I received from Yuqian, Lam Lee and Cristal must be the most touching one ever! It's a photo album with my photos, "editor's notes", many funny captions, and very long letters. Haha just imagine all that effort put into it. Oh man, I came home to look at it again and I cried. I think it's the first time I cried over a birthday present! And they bought me donuts from donut factory too, an entire box of 12! Ahhhhhhh :'( And of course, thank you Valerie for the super cute mini beanie! I can't thank you people enough, so... THANK YOU!!!!! LOVE YOU ALL LOADS AND LOADS AND LOADS!!!!!!
Haha we had dinner at pizza hut, where I used one of the vouchers singtel sent me! It's one where they'll give a free crispy thin pizza with any order of a large or regular pizza. Haha so we ended up eating like 4 slices of hawaiin pizza each, plus some sides. And after that, Yuqian and I shared a topless 5 at swensens! I feel that I ate quite a lot today hahaha. Maybe it's a birthday appetite wahahax.
Yay I'm feeling so happy now! And really touched too. Thank you everyone, thank you, thank you! :D
[Edit]
I was just reading Valerie's letter and I cried again. Yes, I cry very easily, stop scolding me for that! LOL!!! But the letter's really touching hahaha. THANK YOU KILLER!!!!! :)

Went to sing today, with Sharon, Huijin and Joojoo! Yay, haven't gone to sing in such a long time lol. A bummer that they cancelled our 4-7pm slot, so we only sang from 1-4pm hmph. I'm so sad that I didn't to sing my Ting Hai! Hahahaha. But it's okay, cos we went for SAKAE BUFFET! It was a random decision, we just thought of it all of a sudden and rushed there lol. After that, we accompanied Sharon to Scissor Works to cut her hair. She was so scared at first, cos she said the shop looks dubious. Yeah, I was very scared when I first went there too haha. But her hair's nice! It became so neat (for the first time) LOL! =D Hah I really need a haircut too, but I was unprepared today so I'll go down some time during the holidays. I need loads of preparation every time I cut my hair! Haha.
Yay I'm so happy! Everyone I liked on American Idol made it to the top 12! COOOOL! And Survivor was simply great today! YAY YAY! :D :D :D
Oh thanks Amanda for the donut from DONUT FACTORY!!! Hahahahaha. And Zilu, I don't care, YOU OWE ME A TREAT!!!!! LOL!

We had an exco meeting after our paper today (nice way to end the CTs, really). Yeah I was feeling very guilty throughout (as usual). Time flies, we're gonna step down soon and till now I don't feel like I'm putting in my best effort. Sigh, I think my attitude's terrible and I'm sooo irresponsible. :( Step up, step up, step up.
On a lighter note, Yuqian told me that she, Lam Lee and Cristal have already prepared my birthday present! Whoa I'm surprised at their efficiency! And they said they took 2 days to prepare it lol. THANKS A LOT!!!!! :) :) :) Oh, and I received an air mail from the UK 2 days ago! It was a birthday card from JOANNE! Gosh, I was so surprised to receive the card haha. And I was so touched that I cried lol. THANKS A MILLION JOANNE!!!! Regarding your question, I agree that it's probably cos I sleep too much HAHA.
For some reason, I'm quite excited about the A level results tomorrow, though it's got nothing to do with me. Oh it has, actually. Zilu's gonna treat me to crystal jade if she gets 4As! Hahahahaha. Yeah, all the best to all the seniors! :D
Yay I just watched American Idol. I think this season's awesome and the guys rock. Hahahahaha.
