woohoo sports day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was devising ways to pon it but it turned out rather enjoyable. lol. it seemed like our class were the only people cheering. wooh! oh yes. AQUILA'S THE CHAMPION HOUSE ONCE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AQUILAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha at the end of it all, we decided to do our class cheer in the middle of the track. and that got some attention. lol!
argh the shicheng concert's tmr! and i din practise the songs at all, other than during the 3 practices we had. sigh. this is one reason zheng laoshi shouldn't call me back for shicheng anymore. lol. oh. xianghong's actually gonna watch the concert. i think it's hilarious. lol. sad, i'm missing practice at vj! oman.................. =( have fun everyone and miss me lots! i know you all will HAHA =D

yawn. i just returned from shicheng practice. pity me. the sickening practice ended at 10 plus! i was hopping mad coz i missed my beloved american idol =( i had initially decided to pon the practice but simin convinced me not to. haha. zheng laoshi din turn up today, so i was surviving ALL BY MYSELF lol. garh i feel like i'm gonna screw up the performance. pray for me everyone! this shall be my last shicheng performance and please remind me to keep my promise. hoho.
when i went back to dhs just now at about 7.30, many of the yuezus were still practising, all the way until 8 plus. and all of a sudden i felt so touched! coz i know the members of vjco will never willingly practise till this late. heheh. oh yeah i asked weicheng about the current standard of dhsco now. he told me, "when wu laoshi conducts, it's like this. when mr tay conducts, it's like this." as for which conductor brings out the much better or the much worse standard, let's not be so explicit. i'm sure the bond within dhsco will DEFEAT THE ODDS! GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!!!!! =D =D =D
wooh we finally played basketball for PE today! and it was soooooooooo fun!!!!! basketball rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hoho. ah yes the day went on sleepily. and i ponned bio tutorial. LOL!!!!!!! oh did i mention that i've been officially black-listed by mrs lim. she never fails to single me out all the time. can't be helped, i'm such a model student.
oh yes we had a spot check for our skirts length on tues. and can you believe it, i actually got caught WHEN MY SKIRT WASN'T EVEN THAT SHORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mr lim din catch me, another teacher din catch me, it was that particular teacher who caught me. she probably left her glasses at home that day. heh.

hmm some weird person msg-ed me asking if i got elected for exco. and we just submitted our forms yesterday. LOL!!!!!!

lol. i woke up at 8am today and rolled in bed thinking of an excuse to pon shicheng. after pondering over it for 10 minutes, i decided that i wouldn't pon (how great of me). yeah i was already late, so i made a mad dash out of my house to eunos mrt. i saw stefanie walking from the opposite direction. yeah! company! haha. woots she's now a "teacher's assistant" at bedok south sec, giving tuition and working at ben & jerry's. busy huh. i demand an ice cream treat! hoho.
practice was boring times ten thrillion. the songs were really slow, it was so difficult trying to follow the perpetually changing speeds of the singers, i was sleepy but there wasn't a comfortable position for me to sleep, and i had no one to talk to! stefanie was behind but i was lazy to turn around. so i spent most of the time sms-ing and drifting to another world. ha! but i think i played quite well today! muahaha. i hope i won screw up on that day, or it'll be really obvious and mr tay will chop my head off. oh yes. the next freaking practice is on this coming thurs, 7.30pm argh!!!!! it'll end earlist at 9 plus, i'll miss my american idol, and there's school on fri. i'll decided if i wanna go when the times comes. heh.
haha! lin li and stefanie were trying to come up with a weight gain programme for me. put the butter on the bread, put the sugar, then put the kaya. lol! i think i'll get diabetes first =P
oh my dad took away my internet just now coz i promised to pack my room but i din. so i took a brief 10 minutes to do what i was supposed to do to the floor beneath my bed. guess where did everything go? into the cupboards of course. LOL!!!!!

heheh. zilu came to my house today! and we went for shangyin after that. grrr.. the room was hotter than ever. and my ulcer was hurting like crazy. so most of the time i wasn't playing. hehe. ruth is hilarious. she worries that her pen will fly away during SPA. LOL!!!!!! this reminds me of mr bean and how i lack the time to watch it. but i'm so gonna watch it next week, no matter what. HOHO. oman! fiona was telling us just now that the average marks for our eons-ago econs test was 10 to 14. i feel so smart all of a sudden! LOL!!!!!

argh there's shicheng practice tmr! thinking of it makes me feel pissed that i gotta sacrifice SO MUCH of my PRECIOUS sleep to go all the way to MOUNT SINAI and play the 15 songs till i die. seriously, never ever agree to perform for a shicheng concert, or the teachers will never stop hounding you to go back and you'll have to agree. i can't wait for next saturday's concert to be over, and i'm so DONE with shicheng! hehe sorry, but i really think that shicheng practices are sleep-inducing. and i'm so ultra pissed that i'm forced into this and saying NO doesn't help. garh! owell, it's just 1 MORE WEEK!

ho yes i woke up really early this morning n draaaaaged myself for shicheng practice. garh. on the bus, sheajean n i were discussing how many songs would we have to sight-read since we haven't got the scores yet. i predicted that at most, there would be 4 to 5. when i entered the co room, primero handed me a stack of scores which din seem like only 4 or 5 songs. i counted, n there were FIFTEEN songs.
lol. all this while, i've been wishing that there would be more than just 2 songs to practise during co. i never expected to have 15 scores pushed to us just like that LOL!!!!! n there's only one more practice before the performance. how exciting! haha. anyway, the first few songs went quite well, we took about an average of 15 to 20 mins to settle each song. after lunch, the headaches came in. the songs were really difficult! n it doesn't help that i've got a few solos that require lots of FEELING. lol. mr tay commented that i din sound sad enough coz i'm so young, i haven't experienced hardship, i grew up on hamburgers while the song's sth about adversity or sth. he said that i should try living on bread with sand in it. no way! LOL! yes i was having a hard time there lol. n he actually suggested that i specially stalk the singer n ask her to sing for me so as to let me experience the "olden flavour". i'm so NOT gonna do that! i'll figure a way out. HAHA.
just imagine my boredom during the practice. on my right was zheng laoshi. on my left was air. in front of me were teachers. behind me was tian laoshi. sheajean was a little far behind. simin was even further. i've come to a conclusion that my phone's my best friend during shicheng practices. yep i was sms-ing throughout the practice. hoho. oh yeah! please allow me to brag a little, i think my sight reading skills are superb! lol =D
i'm gonna try my best to avoid performing for shicheng in future LOL!!!!!
i just finished a sickening GP powerpoint. n i still do not know what homework there is, bless me.

ha. co camp from wed to today. it was.. alright i guess. not too good, not too bad. thank God for the games in between sectionals, or i would have died of extreme boredom. the "chair game" was amusing, seeing people sitting on top of one another LOL. i'm glad wingsum's light. n thank you jolie for whacking me till my right leg turned red for the plaster game. sheer abuse! LOL. sectionals were boring. really boring. i mean, really, really boring. whether the rest realised it or not, i apologise for my utterly sian-ed behaviour yesterday. sometimes i think i have too much pride. yet at times i know i'm definitely right. oh dun they rhyme? lol. dazu was okay, but somehow i can't get myself to give my all. chun, bell, bell, chun, chun, bell, bell, chun, bell, chun........... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......................
we had a guanyue dinner at siglap pizza hut just now. sharon, peiqi n minxiang came along whee! haha. while walking to the bus stop at mandarin gardens, ruth, fiona, peiqi, sharon n i were gossiping about this person. haiyo. if you're good, people will know n say it for you.
oh yes, thank you flora, zilu, wingsum n ruth for the presents n cards! n yuqian, cristal n lamlee for the shirt n the "jigsaw puzzle" which required lotsa effort lol. THANK YOU!!!!! =D =D =D
thanks for always wanting to "teach" me. i appreciate it. right. i haven't felt insulted for such a long time. 4 years of positive comments. perhaps too positive that it now makes me feel affronted. oh yes i'll change, definitely. when the great mr tay tells me to. whoa. let me tolerate this not-so-positive treatment, n i'll be a survivor! haha.
co 5 days this week, you kidding me? there's shangyin tmr. n cco practice at buona vista on sunday. my parents will flip when they hear this. lol. on a brighter note, simin's performing too! she's about the only person i know who's around the same age as me. lol. bless me, i really dun wanna perform.
i'm sad. no not really. i'm just confused. like, lost in this world of...... dunno. yes i just dunno. i'm lost. i think i'm too sleepy. maybe i'm sick like my phone is. got it, i'm just feeling a little crabby. lack of sleep, lack of acclaim. life should be way happier than this. it is, actually. after a good night's sleep. yes, tmr will be way better! yay! =)

lol. in a few mins, it'll be 364 days to my birthday! LOL!!!!
whee i went to the IT show at suntec again this afternoon. finally bought my new computer! lolol. oman, there were soooooooooo many ppl there! it was packed like crazy n i had to SQUEEZE SQUEEZE SQUEEZE to get around the place. i felt giddy n suffocated after squeezing so much. heh being skinny does help. you can slot yourself into any available space, no matter how small it is. wahahax. i hope i won have to go to another exhibition for a LONG LONG time lol.

orientation 2 was not nearly as refreshing n exhilarating an experience as orientation 1. the first day saw a dismal number of people in the hall. by the time it was afternoon, my entire crewlet had dispelled. erm yeah n i followed suit hehe. i guess it wasn't a very nice thing to do as the student council n ogls had put in alot of effort. hmm.. yeah i went to kbox with valerie, yuqian n cristal. we finally got the chance to go man! after talking about it for months. heheh.
the second day of orientation, which was yesterday, was fun! that was coz we were in our CTs hoho. yeah man, chengyi n shimin are in my class! i'm no more the lonesome dunmanian LOL. S34 was high once more! we gave countless cheers at the games stations n earned quite alot of points in return lol. oh it was really funny to see hannah n some others chase the gamemasters around with the umbrellas trying to shield them from the sun n hoping to earn even more points LOL.
ho yes we were playing games in the hall, n chiawen n mingyao had to do a forfeit. hannah n mingyao demonstrated it by shouting at each other in the middle of the hall, attracting lotsa attention. LOL it was hilarious man. it went sth like.. hannah: WHY DID YOU LOOK AT ANOTHER GIRL?!?!?!?! mingyao: nono i didn't! n it goes on............ LOL! after that, chiawen n hannah went up to a cyclist n said in sort of an angered tone, "WHY DID YOU KEEP STARING AT OUR CLASS?!?!?!?!?!" sth like that LOL. oman, the poor innocent cyclist lol! but it was really entertaining, the whole class was in fits. whee! ooh cheering the ogl cheer's really fun! LOL!
ah i totally had no mood for lessons today. we din have much of them anyway. we ran our 2.4km for PE n HURRAY, NO MORE THIRD PERIOD PE!!!!!! whoa i almost died after running. lol. heh we dismissed soooooooo early today, at 12.45. it's thanks to the econs lecture being cancelled n mrs lim letting us not stay back for the 2 periods of bio. WOOHOO! yup our class went to thaipan. after we'd eaten, we saw a class still inside n we started doing lotsa cranky stuff. like looking through the glass pane n pointing n laughing at sth above their heads. n a few of them started doing really spastic actions like popping out all of a sudden. we thought that the unfortunate class was gonna make a complain for disruptions of their meal. lol. wooh yeah THANK YOU S34 FOR THE BRITHDAY SONG! sung in english, chinese n.. malay? LOL! yeah man LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! =D
american idol really sucked. 2 of the really good singers, one of whom I TOTALLY SUPPORTED are OUT OF THE TOP 12 OMG HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN?!?!?!?! their places were taken by 2 really lousy singers! oman.. the voting is screwed, so screwed, ENTIRELY SCREWED. ROAR! i still can't bring myself to believe that sundance is out! =(

hoho. due to the excellent A level results, it was declared a full day yesterday! whoa, i seriously din expect it of mr chan. lol. i was strolling into school when jessie called me to inform me of the news. i was sooooo excited n hoped that it was true man. haha turned out we really did have a full day! whee mr chan rocks! N THE SENIORS ROCK!!!!! =D valerie n i decided to go to siglap for breakfast. however, we so wonderfully took the wrong bus n ended up at the airport -_-
posting results were out today, so no school whee! yeah i wanted to sleep until like real late but yuqian asked me to come online so i did. i was interested to find out where they had been posted to lol! n that begins the emo day. knowing that a couple of ppl can't stay in vj n all that hai.. but dun be sad, ppl! quoting mr teo, "where you go now doesn't matter, as long as you get to where you want to go after 2 years." haha. the O levels are nth, getting into whichever jc is nth, ultimately it's the A levels that matter more. this is an insignificant part of life's LONG LONG journey! so let's all work hard for the A levels! haha. yes it's easy for me to say. hai. but now, i think i need someone to convince me that dsa-ing was a right choice.
yeah i feel kinda emo today. partly coz of the school posting. n partly coz of memories of THE PAST. haha. yuqian, lamlee n i all of a sudden started reminiscing about the days in sec 4. all the ridiculous things we did, the fun we had, how we always looked forward to school every single day. yeah i miss those days SO MUCH!!!!!!! all that's left now are memories. but beautiful ones! =) haha anyway, thank you yuqian n lamlee for reassuring me, you know.. comparisons.. yeah. THANKS FOR BELIEVING IN ME HAHA! =D
omg! i'm supposed to whip up a few items for tmr's cca walkabout n i haven't even decided on what parts of the songs i'm gonna play. i dun plan to crack my head over it now, so.. let's leave tmr's matters to tmr. muahaha. oman it's gonna be so embarrassing, so please dun watch me. time to look for some blindfolds.

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! DHSCO CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes, it was the dhsco concert today. N IT WAS GREAT WHEE!!!!!! haha. the rehearsal started with me feeling really high n happy. n that resulted in me feeling really tired just before the 4pm concert. lol. the 4pm concert was kinda chaotic. after almost every item, there would be noise coz of sth dropping. but i heard that suyun played really well for huan le zhong guo jie wooh! my rawker junior! hahaha =D ooh i made a couple of mistakes, which i'd never made before in any concert. coming in at the wrong time. lol. that happened during chang cheng. i was so excited to go in n ended up playing at the wrong time. what made it worse was that it was really obvious coz my volume is like... high. hehe. another mistake was made during mo li hua. that was dumb. just before the dizis were supposed to go in, i was thinking of a melody of another part of the song. n yes, i played that at the wrong time so i was shocked when everyone was playing a different melody from me. apparently no one noticed though. lol. omg! n the encore was scary. it was agreed prior to the concert that di tanjong katong would be first. but just before the encore, mr tay changed his mind n mouthed "mang chun" to us. the percussion ppl din hear it, so when his hands were raised, the suonas were playing mang chun n the percussion ppl were playing di tanjong katong. i hope it wasn't obvious to the audience man. heh.
the 7.30pm concert was better! as usual haha. lol weicheng was telling us about them owning wu xz. wu xz was conducting at a snail pace n they decided to play at a faster speed n wu xz followed them! what a great conductor huh, getting led by the musicians. bleah. oh yes, when i was performing chun, i really enjoyed it alot! for the past few weeks chun has been my enemy, but i actually loved it tonight! n i'm still loving it! hopefully, that helps in my playing during vjco practices. haha.
it feels strange being a senior. the concert moves really slowly as compared to previous years, coz we're involved in really few items. i'm glad i got a chance to perform for mo li hua, chun n the encore hee. but anyway, i'm really glad to see the juniors doing so well. some of them have gone leaps n bounds since the last time i saw them. i said it before, but i gotta say it again, I'M SO PROUD OF THE DIZI JUNIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL OF YOU ROCK MAN!!!!! =D =D =D
i'm soooooo tired now. n as usual, i'm suffering from after-concert gloominess. i miss performing with dhsco again. i miss the seniors. i miss the juniors. i miss the chances given to me. i miss the appreciation i receive. i miss the feeling of home in dhsco. i miss being myself n getting credited for it, rather than being criticised by some noob for my style of playing. i miss the restriction-free life. i miss the comparison-free life. i miss the recognition. I MISS DHSCO!!!!!!!!!!

i'm officially in the holiday mood! actually, i've been in a honeymoon daze these 3 months, but it's more serious now. HOHO. yeah it was the release of the A level results today. n we were dismissed at 1pm! lol. mr lim had initially wanted to give us a chem quiz but after doing our S34 cheer for him, he decided to let us to it as homework. oman, mr lim rocks!!!!! lol. oh some of our class ppl went to the hall to look around n experience the atmosphere. yes we formed 2 lines in front of the tables belonging to our senior class n started clapping. we must have scared them off man! LOL!
ahhhh i'm really, really, really, REALLY VERY SORRY rachel, for making her wait so long at eunos mrt for me! there won be a next time! hee....... when we reached buona vista mrt, we strolled to the bus stop n wonderfully missed 92, in which kelvin ho sat n waved at us so smugly! wth LOL. we saw 92A n took it, but discovered that it stopped outside some garbage thing n we had to walk all the way to dhs. in the rain. on our way there, we saw another 92 pass us n we were like.. !@#$%^& when we finally reached dhs, doris, who was on a later train, was already there. n blah blah blah blah.............. "cos you had a bad day, you take it one down, you sing a sad song n you turn it around"............. talk about a bad day. HAHA.
hmm today's rehearsal was our second n final one. including rehearsals, we've only had like 4 alumni practices. today, we just went through everything once, n that's it. we weren't even near perfect! it's so worrying, like what will happen tmr? n i'm like PISSED. at this stage, some ppl can still be making such mistakes...................... it's no wonder mr tay was so angry again. argh! but i'm really in no position to comment. i really wanted to practise the solos today, but i din in the end. hai. hopefully everything will go well tmr! =)
weicheng is so, so, so lame!!!! he called me to ask about the tickets n said, "hi ruth, do you know who am i?????" like duh, his name is on my screen! LOL!!!!
i've been blogging for almost an hour, n it's about 14 hours n 53 min to the 4pm concert. i'm not a single bit excited, unlike the past 3 years when at this time, i could hardly keep still. i guess the novelty's all gone, n we're just alumni. it's cool that i'm not worrying one bit for tmr. nevertheless, i still hope that tmr will be great! i hope that my nerves will disappear n that i'll be able to immerse myself into the music! whee i can do it! all of us can do it! ALL THE BEST EVERYONE!!!!!!! DHSCO WILL BRING VCH DOWN!!!!! =D

woots! i went to crash the lit lecture on monday (at the expense of a chem lecture!). it was really, really, REALLY BORING!!!!! it's not the subject i guess but rather, the lecturer. lol. i honestly din know what he was droning about. haha. a session of decision-making for my "future" turned out to be one where jinghan n i ended up playing bingo. HAHA. that lecture alone is enough to deter my opinion though.
today was not as bad as the other thursdays. coz i'm so refreshed thanks to my 4 hour nap yesterday plus lotsa sleep at night! hoho. i still fell asleep during the maths lecture though. but i knew what was going on! wahahax. oh yeah. we have an S34 cheer! it's like made up of bits n pieces of all the cheers of the 8 OGs n ends off with the OGL thing. LOL! it's kinda a long cheer, but really funny. we showed it to wanyoong just now n she was clearly amused LOL!
oman.. there's no CO this week. how i miss it! lol.
