I'm here! This entry will be an honest reflection on my whole year, it's gonna be long, so here's a prior warning. If words work better than sleeping pills for you, you can stop here! =P Hahaha.

Well, it's been helluva year, a really bitter sweet, fast-paced one year. The past 364 plus days or so haven't been fantastic, but neither were they torturous. There were definitely the depressing, pressuring moments but of course, the wonderful times aren't to be forgotten. I guess that's why this year has been a memorable one!

07S34
To be really honest, I didn't feel too close with the class at the start of this year. For some reason, I felt that I didn't bond with anyone at all haha. Perhaps I was too preoccupied with CO (CO was really my life during that time), or perhaps I simply didn't put in any effort to get to know everyone better. Especially during the SYF and post-SYF periods, I felt that there was some invisible wall between the class and myself. All I cared for was CO, I would countdown to dismissal every Wednesday so that I could dash off for CO, I would spend such long periods in the CO room instead of having meals with the class. To put it simply, there was just this distance between my classmates and me. Haha things only got better around July or so, but I've no idea why too. I guess I finally decided to get out of my self-dug hole and start talking to people lol! By the time promos came, S34 kind of became my life! Hahaha yeah, the class was really my motivation to study for the promos. 'Cos I really didn't want to be retained and say goodbye to such a wonderful class. Promos was a really tough moment for me, struggling to get promoted with the high probability of being retained staring at me right in the face. But if it weren't for these moments, I wouldn't have felt the genuine care and concern from my classmates, and I probably might not have appreciated them as much as I do now. Yep, I'm really thankful to have met the few of you! Thank you... Audrey Han, who frequently reminded me to study and do my work, not forgetting praying for me everyday! You're one of the nicest classmates I've ever, ever had too! :) Sharon, who constantly encouraged and consoled me, and checking on my revision presently for my R papers lol. Huijin, who tries to teach me Chemistry (but as she said, more like FORCING me to do Chemistry lol). Chia Wen, for her constant encouragement! And of course, all my other beloved classmates who have shown much concern for me. Hahaha. S34, I love you! Lol. :D

VJCO
As I mentioned earlier, VJCO was really my life at the beginning of the year lol. The one and only reason I ever looked forward to going to school was 'cos there was CO on that day. Also, being the SYF year, everything's just more memorable. Haha the SYF period was one of pressure, sweat, tears and growth for me. I guess it was the period that I broke down the most too lol. Thank you so much Mr Tay, for always believing in me. Even when I was still screwing up my little solo just a few days before SYF, you still had faith in me. I was really touched then. Each time you told me that I'd improved, it really made my day. And in the end, I did it! Haha. Of course, thank you to all the seniors who kept encouraging me, and to everyone else for all your help. The big day was a disappointing one 'cos we didn't bring back the Honours, but we did our best! We have loads to be proud of. :) I admit, my attitude hasn't been all too wonderful after the seniors left. Every time I stepped into the CO room, I'd feel really disappointed with the attendace. But I believe hope has come in the form of our juniors, so I'm looking forward to practices again! Haha.
EXCO
There's really nothing much to mention, 'cos I don't feel like I've actually contributed at all. I still recall our sharing session a few weeks ago, where I admitted that I suck as an SL (and I still think so). And speaking of that, I think I never said it but I'll say it now. JOLIE! You were an awesome SL! And that's from the bottom of my heart. Haha. If you think you're an imbecile, I'm worse, really. BUT I promise to step up and DO MY JOB PROPERLY. I've already prepared many practice pieces for sectionals, so no one will be slacking again! Lol.

DHSCO
I miss DHSCO loads!!!! It's such a joy going back for alumni practices to prepare for the annual concert. I just love the feeling of performing on stage at Victoria Concert Hall with DHSCO. I felt really great performing during this year's concert, and I'm looking forward to next year's! Guess it'll be my last performance with DHSCO, so I'll cherish it. Even though the songs kinda suck (I'm talking about Xi Bei Wu Qu or whatever it's called)... Hahaha. Oh, and the EZCO camp was a terrific experience too. Love the kids! :D

VJC is a great school, with great people, great friends. But being in VJC has made me miss the teachers in DHS TREMENDOUSLY. And of course, I miss Mr Sng soooooooooo much! He's such a nice principal, who genuinely cares for the students, unlike some elitist........................ Yup. And the teachers, who were also genuinely concerned for me, and not for the reputation of the school. They really wanted me to just give my best. This is so unlike some teacher(s) I know, who are totally blind to any improvements I've made, and only want to see the results. Any idea how hurt I am when someone repeatedly says my results are LAN (lousy)? Well they are, actually, seeing that I got a U for Chemistry, but can't you give me like 1% credit for the improvements I made for the other subjects? I guess not, 'cos after all, I entered through DSA and not with my results. On top of that, you're just an unreasonable b**** and that's understandable. Speaking of teachers though, there's one teacher who has been helping me so much all this while, and I really wanna thank her for all that. Mdm Wee... Thank you for being so patient with me, giving me so much encouragement. I'm deeply sorry for the trouble I've given you. You're an awesome teacher, and I really do not want to disappoint you, but.... Argh, God bless my R papers.

School stuff aside, I'm loving my family so much more each day. Hahaha. Which explains the fact that I actually stayed at my grandfather's house to play with my cousins, something I've not done since Sec 1.

On the whole, it's been an eventful year with its fair share of ups and downs, and I'm really thankful for all the people around me. Thank God for everything and everyone. I love all you people! Here's to a great 2008! :D

It's 5.12am now, I took forever typing this post. Lol.

Wow, it's gonna be the last day of 2008 soon! Hahaha stayed tuned for my annual year-end reflections and new year resolutions! Lol.

Saturday, December 29, 2007

Good morning to the world, the sun has risen and I'm awake! Rather, I have not slept. Gonna hit the sack soon. Wahahax.
Lol! Vivian asked me if I'm gonna get my driver's license. I told her that if I do get it, I'll fetch her to DHS for CO! Wow, thinking of this idea, ain't it so cool! And I can go back to have a look at the same time. Nice thought to motivate me to get my license. LOL.

Why am I thinking of such stuff when I have my R papers to worry about?
Haha. I'm still up at this unearthly hour, talking to Vivian, who's still not asleep hmm. I wonder who the "someone" who tagged my board is. I have a feeling that I may have an idea, but well. Haha. I was so surprised to see NICHOLAS tagging on my board, like how the hell did he find his way here! Smart, I must say. By the way, Nicholas is my 11-year-old cousin who cheats playing Bridge, Vivian's brother, funny kid. HAHAHA.

Damn, I have no idea why, but my left hand hurts like HELL. Please don't tell me I'm about to be paralysed, that wasn't in my Christmas wish list, I'd rather it happen to be right hand, then I will not have to do my R papers.

Haha anyway, 2008 is coming! And this post is totally random. Lol.
Bonjour! I promise that this will be my silliest and random-est post ever.

I just love my Nokia N73 phone! It has soooooooo many functions that ultimately lag up my whole phone and it's so user-friendly and............... Yep, I love Nokia! Nokia Nokia Nokia!

WHEE!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!! SANTA'S IN TOWN! :D :D :D

Sunday, December 23, 2007

There was the Guanyue BBQ at my house yesterday. Went to meet Jolie and Chi Heem at Parkway before that to buy all the food and BBQ stuff. We went to Giant, and then began the arduous task of walking here and there, back and forth to search for the stuff. Ah seriously, I hate grocery shopping! 'Cos I never know what to buy, and I have not a single clue on how to choose potatoes and corn HAHA. According to Cuiying, the corn chosen by Jolie and approved by me wasn't too good. Lol!

We left Chi Heem at my grandfather's house starting the fire, then went to fetch the rest from Eunos MRT. I couldn't recognise the Year 3s man, maybe other than 1 or 2. Haha. Yup went back to my grandfather's house and the BBQ began. But it rained halfway (talk about being unfortunate), so we moved everything into the shelter. And I swear my lungs have become a tad blacker due to all that smoke from the BBQ pit wahahax.

After the BBQ, we went back to my house to play some games until about 11 plus, and everyone went home. Lol even though there weren't all that many people, it was still rather fun haha!

Haha. I talked to my cousin, Vivian, on MSN last night until 4 plus in the morning! Hahaha she was complaining to me about WGY as usual lol! Ah all of a sudden, I miss playing with my little cousins. Can't wait for Christmas to come! TOMORROW'S CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Ha. Time for me to update before my ardent fans start missing my pearls of wisdom!

Tuesday
Went to the katong KTV with Yuqian, Lam Lee and Cristal. Haha went to cut my hair before that and as usual, I was feeling totally traumatised before the haircut. Well it turned out quite okay but it's kinda short. Hopefully it grows by the time school reopens! Haha. Singing was fun, of course! Heh, I managed to hit that high note of Ting Hai both times! First time in my life, really. HAHA.

Wednesday
Went back to DHS to teach the Sec 1 dizis, followed by alumni practice. Haha I think the sec 1s aren't too bad, really. Just gotta work on their basics. Lol taught them Wo Shi Yi Ge Bing wahahax. Alumni practice was boring. I don't like that Xi Bei whatever song! Cos it requires us to shout HEI and YO hahahahaha. For the first time in my life, I appreciate Hua Mu Lan so much more lol.

There was alumni practice at DHS again today, but I didn't go hehe. I'm just too lazy to travel so far! I'll attend more of the practices next year lol. Now for the highlight of the day, as well as the greatest disappointment. TODD WON SURVIVOR!!!! I was like, WHAT?!?!?! I honestly thought that Amanda was gonna win! Cos of her edit, and cos of the stupid truedorktimes spoiler website. Their spoilers are ALWAYS correct and everytime I wish they'll be wrong, they were never wrong. Now when I REALLY want it to be right, it's wrong! DAMMIT!!!!!! Such a waste for Amanda, she played such a super game, the final Tribal Council just killed her. If only she had half of Todd's glib-ness haha. Ahh AMANDA!!!!!!!! I've never been so upset over a Survivor win before. Sigh..........

VJCO Guanyue BBQ at my house tomorrow! Hopefullt it'll be really fun, with 3 batches of people hahaha. Yay, it'll be held by my grandfather's swimming pool! Whee! =D

Monday, December 17, 2007

Well here's what I've been doing for the past few days. Met Amelia at parkway on friday for dinner, then went to buy flowers and presents for the band concert. Haha! It was alright. I think that the players should move more and look at the conductor! LOL!!!

Went to meet Jingyu at tampines mall yesterday. Haha! It's quite funny, 'cos he just returned from the UK and we haven't met for 5 years and we didn't use to be super close, so I was wondering how would I recognise him. And we were so smart that we forgot to exchange our handphone numbers haha! In the end, we still recognised each other haha! Apparently, he said that he walked past me like 4 times but I didn't see him. I guess I was staring into space or something haha. Yeah we went to Fish and Co., and he treated me to dinner! I felt so guilty, 'cos I only treated him to ice cream at Swensens and the dinner was so much more expensive. What's more, he gave me a christmas present! Ahh. Oh well, I'll give him one if we meet up again! Hehe. And due to the tradition in the UK, he insisted on sending me home lol. Yup we talked alot about our primary school days, and how I miss Ms Lam SO MUCH! The teachers now... most of them have no compassion, really. Lol.

Today... went to meet Huijin at parkway for lunch, then we went to mug. Erm, I attempted to mug but it didn't really succeed. I was staring at Huijin's chem paper for an eternity but still didn't get much in heh. After that, we went to Borders and I finally bought Huijin the book that I owe her haha! So nice of me. Yeah we went to Burger King to read (lol) and went home after a while.

Just watched Star Awards, and I'm quite surprised by some of the results. And I'm sooooo disappointed that Tay Ping Hui didn't get the best actor award and that Joanne Peh didn't get top 10! Sigh.... hahaha.

Damn, R papers are like in two weeks and I still know nuts about my topics (chemistry) argh!! And the more I think about it the more I feel it's quite unfair that my favourite teacher actually made me write that "oath" of leaving VJC if I don't clear my R papers. Yes it's my fault and everything, I shouldn't blame anyone but for heaven's sake, there are people out there who did worse than me and she doesn't ask them to write that! Admit it, certain HODs are just biased against the DSA students. Yeah, special mention to my favourite teacher. DAMN YOU! Everyone thinks that I shouldn't have written that sentence and I think so too, but how am I gonna argue against her? Impossible. Rarh!

COUNTDOWN: 12 DAYS TO CHRISTMAS!

Monday, December 10, 2007

All hail the superstar! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was my grandfather's birthday, so our entire humongous family including all my distant relatives went to Four Seasons for dinner. Well, it's as boring as all other years but something which made this year's more unforgettable was the fact that my grandfather actually requested for me to play my dizi! Yeah, I was already told about it a few weeks ago but I didn't really think much about it lol. And it was only today that I decided which songs I'd play. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and Joy To The World! LOL. I didn't even practise them once also. Haha I was eating my buns halfway when the compere asked me up on stage to play! I took quite a long time going up, just kept dilly dallying haha. Yeah and I finally went up to play, and that was my first time ever play those 2 songs! Cool huh! Hahaha. It was really hilarious, playing to 12 tables of people, about 120 pairs of eyes were on me HAHA. And there were a couple of times I really felt like laughing, 'cos everything's like quite amusing, and they didn't know that I've never played those songs before. Haha then after I've finished, the compere asked if I could sight-read my grandfather's favourite hymn, so I did! And everyone was amazed that I could play it the first time I saw it. Haha it was quite fun, faking my "pro-ness" to all of them LOL. Oh they wanted an encore, and I just played the hymn again HAHA. I think there was once when someone was taking a picture of me, and the compere said, "Pose for the camera!" I felt like a superstar for a moment LOOOOOOOL! Oh man, hilarious is the word.

That aside, the dinner was really boring. Just imagine sitting through the adults talking about results and all that. But the cool thing was that my relatives came up to me periodically telling me how impressed they were LOL. Aha, bluff carried out successfully! Hahaha ;)

Hee my aunt was asking me about my plans for university, which I replied that I had none lol. Honestly, my future's about as clueless as it is bright (I KNOW my future's gonna be a bright one HAHA). Haha throughout the dinner I was msg-ing Yuqian and Amanda, 'cos I was just too bored. So special thanks to the both of them for entertaining me HAHA =D

Yay, that marks my evening as a superstar! LOL.

VJCO Camp Day One - 05/12
We were split into 4 groups, V, J, C and O, and we had to think of our group names and cheers. I was the group leader of C, and we were called C-diao (C major)! Cool name huh! But our cheer's really lame. It goes like this, *sings the C note for 10 seconds* 3, 2, 1, shout C-DIAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL! Very unfortunately, it rained the whole day! That caused us to not be able to proceed with the original game plans, so we had to use thursday's game instead, which was Chicken Kingdom. Quite sad that I didn't get a chance to play, 'cos I was the station master of the tax counter lol. I'd have liked to try the 100 seconds no NG! I saw my group doing it so I went to cheer them on. And I realised that they were really spontaneous people! Whee! After all the fun and games, we had to go bathe and I was so miserable 'cos it rained and rained and rained the whole day, the weather was so cold, and the school toilet has no heater! I was really tempted to go home and bathe! Haha Zhou Mo suggested that the whole CO go to my house and bathe but of course, that was impossible lol. Anyway, I was glad I managed to survive the cold water in the cold weather haha. We watched Music and Lyrics in the music room that night and after that, went to our "executive suites" (which were actually the V block classrooms lol) to play cards. We played all the way till lights out. Once again, I was quite miserable at night when I was trying to sleep 'cos I was cold, hungry and the floor was so hard! My sleeping didn't seem to help at all lol. But I was so surprised that I managed to sleep. I woke up periodically though. But it's so much better compared to most of the other girls who didn't sleep a wink hehe.

Day Two - 06/12
This was one unlucky day for me man. We were walking down to the canteen for breakfast when I stepped into a small puddle of water and down I went on my butt. My elbow still kinda hurts now heh. And later that day while walking down to the canteen again, I once again stepped into a puddle of water and landed on my knees. Argh! Honestly, my slippers ought to be thrown away. Haha the rest of the girls were so afraid that I'd fall again lol. The games that day were alright. I played some of them last year, so some were not that fun haha. But all in all, the water bombings were fun! Got bombed a few times, and lots of water poured on me during Hai Dai Quan. I'd intended to stay over that night too, but turned out that all the girls weren't staying, except for 3 sec 4 girls. So, coupled with my homesickness, my hatred for the school toilet and sleeping in the classrooms, and the fact that I missed my mum and dad, I decided to go home too! Haha.

Day Three - 07/12
Nothing much, there was only sectionals and a mini prize presentation. During the prize presentation, we were supposed to use points accumulated during the various games to bid for food. Sadly, C-diao had the lowest number of points! The score wasn't that far though, it was less than 100. But anyway, the main point's that we had the lowest number of points, but we ended up with the most food! 'Cos we bidded for almost everything HAHA. But being the nice group that we are with a nice and noble leader, we shared everything with everyone hoho. We had a 2-hour exco meeting after that! Whoa, I almost died. Mr Teo kept asking us why for everything sigh. Oh well, had a CO lunch after that at parkway, after which we went up to an empty space to play indian poker. HAHA Junxi lost thrice, so he had to do a forfeit, which was to approach a stranger and sing the birthday song to him/her. He approached a little boy and started singing to him HAHA. Oh we did some tricks on the sec 4s too LOL.

Recital concert - 08/12
The rehearsal was bad! For some reason, I got a stage fright when there was only our own people in the audience. So I was kinda shivering when I played Tuo Ling. And for the 2 dizi songs, I didn't lead properly and everything was messy and I was so traumatised lol. But the actual concert was good! The audience turn-up rate was much higher than expected also. Shall comment on the dizi songs first. They weren't very good, 'cos we all of a sudden just rushed through the song and some people couldn't keep up. And I thought that my actions weren't big enough hee. But at the very least, music wise, I played everything correctly and properly! Oh, I was like smiling throughout our item, and some people saw and were amused about that. Haha! Maybe I shouldn't have done that, makes everything seem so un-serious. Shall comment on Tuo Ling now. I thought that I played well! And I managed to hold my breath throughout the entire 25 beats plus ritard! Vincent said that it was really impressive! Hahaha and those nice, flattering comments from some of them really sent me up the clouds LOL. Right, enough bragging, that was really to comfort me about the not-so-excellent dizi item hehe. Yay Tuo Ling rocks! By the way, I think I'm really noble 'cos while other sections went to get some lunch, I stayed with Tan Bo Yue throughout to practise Tuo Ling with them! I even abandoned my section hehe. But really, Tuo Ling is such a nice song! Haha. CO lunch at parkway again. After lunch, we headed upstairs again to play polar bear lol. Went to gramophone with Zilu after that, and I bought Lifehouse's Who We Are! It's been more than a year since I last bought a CD heh.

Argh! There's this house a few houses away from mine and the people in there have been singing and blasting indian music for the past 4 hours! It's SO LOUD and I'm FREAKING IRRITATED. I'm hoping that someone calls the police HAHA.

Haha! I'm currently feeling much more optimistic about the future of CO! 'Cos the sec 4s are really a bunch of fun people! Yay! :D
I'll update on the VJCO camp another day, 'cos I ain't in the most carefree of moods right now. Hee it's gotta be the first time in my life I'm kinda dreading a concert (although it's a really small-scaled recital concert). A part of me is in fact looking forward to it, but the other part is feeling rather worried. I'm quite confident for Tuo Ling, but I really hope that 1 year plus of not playing the song won't cause me to not able to hold that note for 25 beats haha. As for the Dizi qizou pieces... That's what I'm really dreading. I'm afraid that I may happen not lead them properly and everyone will come in at different times, I'm afraid that we will not be able to coordinate properly and everything comes out in a whole mess, I'm afraid that we'll screw up the fast parts of Shan Bei Hao, and most importantly I'm afraid that we'll embarrass ourselves in front of the entire horde of seniors! I don't know why I'm feeling so pressurised, it's just a Guan Mo Hui but you know, I really fear embarrassment. Hee. Ah but I should have more faith in my section! Pray that all goes well!

Biggest bummer, the sai-kang individuals who are arranging the chairs and all that are none other than the poor SLs! Did I mention that I totally detest pai wei? Lol!

Tuesday, December 04, 2007

I'm listening to Yu Hou Ting Yuan on repeat mode now! The song is really, really nice! But the version I'm listening to is different from what CCO played, this version's performed purely by the plucking section. But it's still equally awesome. And if not for the fact that I'm in a good mood, I would have cried lol. Thanks Yanzhi for sending it to me! :D

Roar. Gonna test out the games for the VJCO camp in school tomorrow. LOL. It's kinda hilarious imaginiig the bunch of exco people playing against one another. Oh well, hope it'll be fun.

Oh! I'm totally OVER THE MOON THAT TK AND RACHEL CAME IN FIRST ON THE AMAZING RACE!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol.

HAPPY SEVENTEENTH BIRTHDAY XIANGHONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Sunday, December 02, 2007

Ah! While I'm still in the after-concert mood, here's everything on the super concert today!

Got up a little earlier this morning to file my scores. I was so pleased that the complete set was under my possession lol. 'Cos since practices started a few weeks ago, my scores were either totally lost or partially missing. Hoho. So fortunately, everything's right where it's supposed to be when it's supposed to be.

My mum fetched me to VCH, and there were so many annoying roadblocks all over the place. There was some cross country or whatever running thing going on, and many roads were blocked. So it took a long time before my mum managed to drop me off at the carpark of VCH. Haha there was this facilitator on the road, and he asked my mum where was she driving to, to which she replied, "my daughter has a performance at VCH." He directed her to the road leading to VCH, and my mum told me, "wow, you're like a VIP!" .......... LOL. I'm always a VIP what! HAHAHA =P

I thought I was really late, which I was, actually. Reached there at 12.45 when we were supposed to be there at 12.30 haha. But a number of people hadn't reached yet, so I was still quite punctual. The big, big seniors were so funny! We were backstage in the dizi room and they were complaining, "wah, why aren't there any chairs for us to sit?" LOL!!!! I guess us "kids" are more used to sprawling on the floor already. I mean, that's what we have been doing for the past DHSCO, CCO and EZCO concerts. HAHAHA.

The rehearsal wasn't too good (but since when were rehearsals meant to be good, anyway?) I stick to my policy that rehearsals are for screwing up. At least, that applies to me all the time LOL. Yeah, as if driven by this mindset of mine, I just have to screw up SOMETHING during the rehearsal HAHA. Yup, so I screwed up the super fast tounging part of Qin Bing Ma Yong just now. Heh but apparently, I wasn't the only one! In fact, I wonder how many in the entire line of dizis actually played it lol! Oops.

The rehearsal ended at 3 and the concert only started at 5, so for the rest of the time, Suyun, Prida, Serene and I played cards. Snap, bridge, dai dee, bluff, anything to kill time. Haha. As usual, I bluffed my way through bluff. Hoho!

The concert was not bad. Liang Shan Sui Xiang wasn't fantastic though. Qingen flipped the score to 2 pages ahead, and I didn't realise it initially. So when the dizi people started playing, I was like, "Huh? What are they playing? This isn't our part!" Plus the fact that someone came in like 2 bars earlier, so basically, I was a very confused person then. But I soon realised that we were on the wrong page, so I quickly flipped back lol. Wasted, I wanted to show off the super fast tounging part which I spent some time practising before the concert LOL. But there was another identical part behind, so I got my chance to "show off" HAHAHA. I was actually quite proud of myself that I managed to do it lol! The rest of the songs were good haha.

I really like Yu Hou Ting Yuan! It's a liuqin concerto, and I think it's a really touching piece. Plus the fact that the soloist, some tan bo yue/guzheng examiner from China, was really immersed in the music. Haha, talk about the epitome of emotions. Ahh I love that song!!!

Oh yes, when I was on stage, I thought I saw some waving. Turned out that Jeenise and Jeng Suan were waving at me LOL. Jeng Suan, the Poi Ching dizi girl who came for the EZCO primary school camp. They came to look for me backstage after the concert, together with Shermaine, another Poi Ching girl who plays the suona. Chatted with them for a little while, and they were amused by the bow tie I was wearing (it is rather amusing, come to think of it lol). Yeah I commented that our concert attire, black pants, white long-sleeved shirt, black blazer, made us look like penguins. And they said that I look like a penguin 'cos I'm so skinny. Hmm not much link but well... alright. Hahaha. Ohh Shermaine invited me to her birthday party! It's on the 30th December, but I'm not sure if I'll be going. Yup I had to leave a short while after that, 'cos my parents would be there soon. But not after they shouted "BYE PENGUIN!" Really! Ah but I'm missing the kids again LOL.

Anyway, the concert really inspired me haha. Yeah, it's just an ordinary CCO concert, just one of the few I've performed in before. But I guess it's the long absence from all that DHSCO hype and feeling and all that, such that when I'm once again under the baton of the great Mr Tay, it just feels very different. When I was on stage just now, I really enjoyed myself. It's the emotions behind the music, that feeling of liberation which I've never experienced before and will never experience in VJCO, or any other CO. Yeah, that's the magic of DHSCO! And CCO, which consists of DHSCO alumni haha.

Oh, and I really regret not taking kaoji this year. While I do not have the woes of A levels, I should have taken this chance to take it! Argh! Haha. Ding Laoshi was saying that I can take Grade 10 next year. But I reminded him that I haven't taken Grade 9. And Tian Laoshi said, "It's okay, take both grades next year. You can do it!" *faints* Grade 9 AND 10 on top of the theory exams PLUS A levels... I'll just die! By the time A levels end, there'll be like a mere 1 week before the practical examinations start. And well-known for being a last minute person, 1 week is definitely not enough to chiong 6 songs of supreme standards HAHA. It was achievable last year, cos there were still 2 weeks after O levels to rush my grade 8 pieces. It's gonna take a lot of discipline. Ah but who knows, I may end up with a surprising distinction like my grade 8! Right, I shall go dream about it. Wahahax. Sadly, I'll bet that this fervour for taking exams will soon be gone. Lol.

I'm so sorry for boring you with my detailed entry on the concert, but I just HAD to comment how inspired I am. HAHA. And to conclude, THANK YOU XIANGHONG for the merci chocolates! :D

Here's an update on a very fun-filled yesterday with the superstar wannabes (Sharon, Joo, Amelia and Huijin)! Met Joo and Huijin at parkway for lunch, then headed to the karaoke at katong (I love that place!). Sharon, who was late as usual (LOL), met us on our way there and Amelia joined us later. Wahahax it was fun! Time seemed to pass a little slowly at the start, but it flew by quickly during the last few hours. Haha we chose quite a number of english songs! And the reason Kelly Clarkson remains such a worthy American Idol. Her vocal prowess is... Unbeatable lol. The last hour of the session was simply HIGH. Haha. Here's evidence of the "high-ness" in the room.

Spastic-looking Sharon! LOL

HIGH!

Oh yes, met quite a few ex Dunman High classmates there. When I was about to cross the road to parkway, I saw Liwen. Chatted with her for a little while, and she told me that DHS is really boring now lol. And after we left the karaoke, I saw a group of 4H'06 people standing outside the toilet. Saw a few 2G'04 people too. Yoke San, Jiexin and Anting, just said hi to them haha.

I just watched Survivor China, and I take my stand that James is the dumbest survivor EVER. Heh.

Ahh I've got to collect my blazer and file from shangyin tomorrow. I'm really too lazy to make a trip down, but I definitely have to go tomorrow, or I can forget about performing on sunday. And did I mention, I ponned today's practice wahahax. It's 7.30pm, and it's my mum's birthday! Oh dear, Zheng Laoshi will be pissed. Aye but thankfully, I won't be seeing him for a long time after this sunday's concert. Maybe until the next CCO concert lol!

It's minutes after my mum's birthday, but here's a little belated wish. Happy birthday mummy! =D =D =D

Oh, and a happy belated wedding to Ms Meta, whose wedding took place 2 days ago! Lol :D
