emo, emo day for me. it started from the rehearsal at SCH. i kept screwing up at my favourite part, and mr tay was clearly super disappointed. i was like so freaking scared whenever we began playing chun. i was shaking like a chicken, if anyone noticed. lol. yes and i kept screwing up. and i was kinda stressed. haha after a while i started tear-ing on stage. it's really easy to just change. but mr tay went, "suyin, ni ke yi zuo dao de." and i felt sooooooo touched. it's RARE to find such a conductor, seriously. reminds me of the time when he was talking to me about the china trip. his words really have an impact on me man. haha but anyway, halfway through the rehearsal, i suddenly thought of dunman high. and i started feeling EMO. yeah.

they showed us a video of the 04/05 batch. and i felt emo again. like.. from a slack orchestra to a bonded one.. eventually showcasing such a wonderful performance on stage.. just shows the passion they have for co. oh and seeing mr quek made me miss him too. haha. yep. i thought they did a really good job. we can do it too man! 10 days may not seem very long.. but it's enough to make a difference. it's only 10 days.. let's all CHIONG for a memorable moment on stage! =)

haha. i saw valerie online just now and i told her i'm stressed. and she called me immediately to comfort me. hai.. i'm TOUCHED once more hahaha. yup. something she read to me from the encouragement Bible.

It doesn’t take any special talent to give up, lie down on the side of the road and say, “I quit.” Any unbeliever can do that.

But once you get hold of Jesus or more accurately, He gets hold of you, He begins to pump strength, energy and courage into you and something strange and wonderful begins to happen. He won’t let you quit.

You may say, “Oh Lord, I don’t want to go on anymore." But He won’t let you give up, even if you want to. So keep looking to Jesus and follow His example. When you do, you’ll keep pressing on no matter what comes your way.

i've been soooo complacent. all this while i never really practised for whatever solos i had. all i did was try to play them as nicely, seh-ly and emo-ly as i could and compliments would come. BUT it's different now. this is in a "different league". and as valerie said, this is how i'm gonna improve! I'M GONNA PRESS ON!!!!!!! let's all work hard these 10 days! more practices please! haha.

THANK YOU EVERYONE for the "jia you"s. i will! let's all add oil! =D

thank you (:
